That means that even post release I won’t be able to link my account ?, great
I spent $0 and I have also uninstalled the game. I think I made it to lvl 48? I don’t know. It all felt pretty pointless just knowing that I was going to stagnate if I didn’t start throwing thousands of dollars away with their crappy loot box-ization of the Diablo gameplay loop.
I personally love the game. I play a lot of games on my phone over the years but this was is the most polished looking game yet. It is also a lot of fun. I’ve spent about $70 so far.
Up to this moment 0. I am at Server paragon level. Game needs some minor changes that would help the F2P players but it is fine.
In several directions is a big improvement over D3. If D4 will have over DI the same level of improvement (in all departments and no P2W) that DI has over D3, then we all have to be excited for a game that can be played for 10+ years.
I always play because I have fun. I stop only when I hit that paywall or it’s no longer fun.
I can see you hitting the paywall at P48 but it doesn’t exist at lvl48 (unless you’re speeding through content or competing)
P35 DH here. Still $0.
In all fairness, I have close to 800 games in my collection across 6 platforms, including a Switch and Laptop. I have a handful of decent mobile ports of old console games. I really don’t need Diablo Immortal to take up 12 gbs of space on my phone just to fill that 10 minutes of time I am pooping on my boss’s time. I’ve got other things to keep me occupied.
Honestly, if Blizzard cared about getting my time or my money, they would have just charged a one-time, up front, and fair price tag for the product. I would have paid for it if it really was like a pared down D3 for mobile, no problem.
Approaching P40. 99 cents for a cosmetic. 60% BG win rate. Best mobile fun I’ve had ever, don’t play many.
This stuff is seriously addicting.
I had planned to not spend anything, and didn’t for a week, but eventually two of the first 0.99 cent offers got to me. And using the crests I got from those I got a 3/5 star gem that changed the gameplay a lot for my DH (Echoing Shadow). And then I had to buy another of the one time-offers (think 9,99$) to get 10 crests to see if I could get one more. But I didn’t.
It’s hard but I’m gonna stop now, I have to. I’m of the kind that easily gets addicted. The junkie type.
Not tried it, dont intend to either. I’m just waiting for D4.
Looked at the graphics and said yeck!
Not played it a bit, never will.
The game changes so much with those 5 star gems that I would say you haven’t seen the gameplay mechanics before having used them all. It’s like a new set bonus, or skill. With the Echoing Shadow gem it’s like having Shadow Master on the skillbar in D2.
That is why I was so eager to get a new one when I saw what it did, it makes the mechanics more interesting to play with. If F2P players can get all those, then the game can be played for free, if not, it’s like having Normal difficulty without sets for F2P, and Torment 16 with sets for payers.
You can grind your butt off on Normal difficulty in D3, with time and effort you can reach the same paragon as those playing on T16/GRs, but you will miss so much of the game mechanics and what makes the game fun.
I spent my house, car and my better halfs car, I am so strong now that I am happy. Best game ever! Might sell my pets aswell to get even stronger.
I have now spent 15 dollars more, trying to get a good gem. I’m like a damn robot, told myself yesterday that it’s stupid and that I must never spend anything more. Yet, this morning I felt lucky and…
Someone please shoot me.
Just uninstall it before you are homeless and alone.
Yeah just do yourself a favor and uninstall it before you will regret it or work yourself into a depression because you were unable to control yourself. Games like these are not for people with impulse control issues and what they can do to your self esteem. Losing too much money can be bad enough. A depression can be even worse long term speaking though, games like these can hurt you in more ways as just your wallet. With all the tricks they play upon people, they are playing with fire.
One thing many of those, but I have fun players do not understand and I hope will never find out to their detriment.
I spent around $14.00. Uninstalled a couple of weeks ago when the game stopped any kind of meaningful advancement, and it became nothing more than a list of daily chores.
I slowed my play time to bored down time.
I haven’t Uninstalled yet because I’m hoping for next month-season to introduce new content. If it doesn’t, then I might uninstall.
I spent no money and no time on it.
A whole generation of people (damaged goods) is created under the motto: I want it all, I want it NOW! This is what is called instant-gratification.
I have not spent a cent in DI but i am still Paragon 64 (3 Levels beyond the Server Paragon Level).
If the 100% of things of this game were to be unlocked after 3 months or after throwing 10 000$, then what’s will be left to do in the fourth month?
Blizz preys upon those sick people (addiction is a disease) and this is morally reprehensible.
