How much did you spend on Diablo Immortal?

Probably, I think the reason why D:I rifts are so simple and easy is because they can’t really have their whales having trouble opening their $25 gacha 10-pulls with extra steps, can they?

Yeah. That definitely is the reason.

Though, it is a bit funny imo, because IF you could fail and lose your paid Crest, fewer countries would consider it to be gambling (even though imo, it very much still would be, just like gambling money on the outcome of sport events is also gambling in my view, despite it having some kind of skill/knowledge element to it).

The ones I hate most are the darkness one where you can only see a tiny area around your character and the wind one that blows you constantly toward one end of the Rift.

Challenge Rifts are just a way to validate your combat rating. It’s not based on gear and skill level like Diablo 3’s GR is.

DI’s challenge rift is very different from D3’s greater rifts.

In D3, you gear up, you min max, and your skill and knowledge of the game matters if you want to push higher GRs.

But DI’s challenge rift is just a validation of your combat rating. You either have the combat rating to do it, or you don’t. There is no skill involved. How you play the map, how you work the layout has nothing to do with it.

So, a Mobile game’s infinite rift is simpler then a Desktop game’s infinite rift.

Who would have thought that would be the case?

I would imagine all the people that expect Mobile games to be simplified for small screens would have expected that.

I actually failed a rift, and the crests were refunded to me by mail. These were the rare crests, not the paid ones.

I think I put about $10 in the game for cosmetics, and the battle pass. Regret that now as I’m uninstalling this piece of P2W garbage.

Knew it wa P2W, still spent money on it, not even seeing the full value of the money spent. And they say the people spending thousands have a problem.

Yep. Impossible to lose the Crests.

Nope, the “small spenders” also have a problem. Not so much a personal problem, as a fundamental human problem. The game is designed to take advantage of that.

I disagree. Im clearly below the CR places online say i need to clear the rifts I have cleared. But then I do a ton of kiting, kite the bass back to near the starting portal, so if I die i don’t have to waste seconds reapawing at my corpse.

Though it’s not much, but I’m 5-6 rifts levels aboves above my CR. The tough enemy warning said I was taking like 88% more damage and doing like 30% less. Still cleared it. However it all depends on the boss. If I get that fetish shaman, it’s a fail guarantee.

I get that. But some just act like it’s not them that have an issue.

In a sense it isn’t, when it is just the basic human condition. If it is an issue they have, it is the same issue all humans have, due to how our brains work.

That obviously doesn’t mean that everyone end up as addicted gamblers all the time. But it means that every single one of us easily could end up like it. Anyone who believe they are uniquely endowed to resist addictions, both of drugs, gambling and other kinds, are delusional.

0$ Didn’t install it.

Now before judging the amount, know that I’m an adult, with steady job and income. My issue isnt spending money on a game I would like to play, and even if it’s a mobile game casino, am not against rewarding the artists team for their work. My cap stands around medium cost of usual game and I have spent around 30ish $. I wanted cosmetics from battle pass, and tried one 25$ elder rift, to check on my luck. Tried, saw that it’s pointless, and keep on playing quite casually when I feel like it. I’m not sorry for spending 30$, but the way the game is currently set, its it. No more, and when I’m done with grinding artifical walls set in this game, I’ll just uninstall.
If anyone wonders, I’m para 49, blasting H2 and having fun without awakened gear, and only 345 resonance.

Spent about 50k dollars on my 4 accounts.

I’m having a good ol’ time w/ Immortal.

I didn’t really pay attention to it. Accordingly, nothing invested, not even my time.

It’s called Diablo, but for me it’s just some companion mobile game. And when I hear what is so normal, uninteresting.

I spent a total of € 0

0$, was thinking to buy the 0.99$ starter but link-account between my PC and Mobile failed somehow so decided not to do it (not yet at least, Beta = data gets deleted at release time of game :P)

Usually that is the case, but not for D:I, see this “beta” as live game, they might change some things during the “beta period”, but progress will stay.
