Is there any reason to have Area Dmg on the T16 Speed farming build since you don’t have Rend selected as a skill, and therefore can’t proc Area Dmg from it?
Nope, Area Damage is pointless for T16 (and probably redundant until you get to GR 125+)
You still want rend selected as a skill for t16 when you are low paragon. The area damage portion of the build only comes into play when you hardcast rend. T16 should be all one shots so area is pointless. Although the selecting rend on your bar will act like area damage even though it is just extra rend procs.
Been dead around here for awhile!!!. I was bored so I tested some speed times to see how much progress I have made over season 20. This was from May and I have seen 3 upgrades for this build. Still didn’t beat my PR of 2:04 but my average time went down 15 seconds. Not terrible for 3 months work. I also run 108s with my squirts build sub 2 minutes with a PR of 1:22.

I haven’t been playing S21, but I check this thread regularly and it feels like a ghost town in here compared to all the energy and activity last season.
I’ve heard about the stacking exploit that people are using to clear GR150 and apparently Blizz has accepted that it is working as intended, so now the new meta is designed around optimizing characters for this exploit. What a joke!
WW/Rend seems quiet because I think everyone rolled a GoD DH in S21.
Personally, I didn’t like the set, so I just did Guardian on an Impale DH and haven’t touched the season since, as all the flashing effects combined with ultra darkened maps when the weather stuff happened was giving me a headache. I’ve been playing other games with occasional forays onto my non-seasonal Barb.

I rolled a ww barb for this season and got my last stash tab. He’s now put to rest at 600 paragon. My NS activity has been down mainly due to the leader board bug. Lost all motivation to play further for the time being, haha.

I was just talking with Chris about that. Any idea what caused it? Did you file a bug report?
No idea what caused it. Every now and then I get a message saying clan chat, or community chat functions disabled and then it comes back again randomly. Only happened a handful of times in the past few weeks.
There’s been a lot of threads about it when this occurred in the bug report forum, others have chimed in saying it’s happened to them as well. Doesn’t seem to get any response from blues either. I submitted a ticket and they say they don’t take D3 bug reports via the ticketing system and to make a thread in the bug reports sub forum. 
It isn’t just the terrible things it does to your vision, the Lightning Breath will one shot HC characters when reflected back off certain monsters. Nerves will not save you, it will proc and give them just enough time to say I am hurt. Then 90% mitigation will do nothing as it drills through and wipes out the poor hero. Hahaha, season bonus to the EXTREME!
There are many reasons I refuse to play HC. The season theme is low on that list 
1st time playing, I have a Primal Unity, can I replace either Band of Might or Zodiac? If so, is 650 str or 15% damage to elites better to roll off? My guess is the 15% will scale better
My goal is to push GR solo clears, looking to do ~120 soon, but looking to aug 150 everything and push as high as possible eventually. Would take any other suggestions for improving build

Yes, I understand where you are coming from, albeit from a slightly different perspective. For me there are many reasons I refuse to play SC anymore and the season theme is not even on the list. 
As Meteorblade noted, no. Items in this build are 100% locked.
Just follow the guide for the Core build. It’s up to date and doesn’t require any tinkering. This build is pretty demanding in terms of gear and rolls, but you only really need to start piling on AD (in conjunction with CDR) once you start fishing hard for rifts.
Yeah, horses for courses I guess.
I think HC would be too expensive.
Mostly because the chances of my laptop gaining the flight skill would be increased exponentially

Which of the 3 rings would be better to cube for ww/rend: zodiac bom coe. Would bom and coe be better for more dmg or have zodiac for that extra cdr and rcr.
