[Guide] MOTE6 Earthquake

Chris, those are definitely perfect gloves for Slam. For Leap, lower paragon players would generally take STR, while higher paragon players will get a little more benefit from CDR. With you being around 6k now I think the CDR will be the way to go.

So, to clarify, you want CHD/CHC/CDR/AD. If you can get a secondary resistance too, particularly Physical, that’s icing on the cake.

So: congrats! A great find!

BH, I’m not going to be able to do any in-game testing for the next 7-10 days.

If there are any notable changes to Tribes, particularly any increase of the multiplier or removal of the additive bonus, could you run a few tests?

Sure thing my friend!

Thank you sir!

If you like I can give you a step-by-step set of instructions, or I’m sure you can figure it out yourself. I’m happy either way.

If you have specifics you want tested please let me know and I will do said tests.

Ok will do. Though I guess we should wait and see if anything actually changes with the weapon!

Well, ptr patch is apparently installing now.

So, the big question about Tribes is: did they get rid of the additive bonus?

If so, then…

#1: we need to check to see if old Tribes weapons have been retroactively changed as well.

#2: if old Tribes has NOT changed, then we need to see if the dibs bonus of old Tribes (carried in your hands) works with the multiplier of new Tribes (in the cube).

To do this, you’ll want to compare EQ damage numbers… with just old tribes / with just new tribes / with both.

#3: if this works, then we need to file a bug report, because it’s really bad- a situation that essentially locks all new players (or new barb players) out of playing the build.

Yes, it’s now 800% leg power and it is retro on old weapons.

Holy hell!!

They actually listened!

Are old weapons at 800% multiplier, or just 200%?

ok, in the ptr seasons, old versions have been retroed. Non season ptr, no retro to old weapons same as they were. Makes an issue right there for sure.
More issues. Weapons in stash still have the % eq damage, blue text, and the new leg power, . Old weapons equipped or in inventory got no changes at all.
My primal tribes equipped got no changes, but ancient weapons in stash did.

Hmm, weird.

Ok, interaction between old additive Tribes and new multiplicative Tribes definitely needs to get tested.

Yeah borked indeed! Start filing bug reports!

600-800% multiplier is huge!

It doesnt even say that on the notes? It just says they consolidated the buffs.
which would only be a slight buff since both abilities would get the bonus.

Good news: 800% cubed
Bad news: newly dropped tribe no longer has 200% affix.
secret news: legacy weapon didn’t change…u know what I mean…lol…
I got a primal tribe with 200% affix and 800%…lol…And I can keep it for ptr use forever! Yep.

This change literally saved the patch for me. I was moping about the wizard pretty hard before I came and read these comments.

Now I’m just curious if I’m going to have to refarm my primal weapon, or if I’m already set, lol

Yep, +800% is pretty great: +8-9 GRs. With this new weapon my recent 126 would be 134 or 135 instead!
