I’m still optimistic it’ll be taken care of and punished appropriately.
I seem to remember the blood shard exploit in Season 3 took almost a week or something for them to address. And then the ban hammer swung.

I just got GR 125 Solo for rank 746… looked at the top of leader board and saw the 30 second to 1 minute cheat thats happening. Googling it lead me to here. What a joke. This is actually worse than paragon bots that usually exlcude me from top 100. This better get fixed ASAP or I’m gonna dip for the season. Eventually it’ll be 1000 exploit runs filling leaderboard at this rate.

Dont have to roll the game back a week just the leaderboards which is fine . They roll the game back. Its game over for me. Sufferer doin bountys for 2 days which i hate doin 1 bounty.
In some regards, yes. But for only one class and 2, 3, 4-player pushes. There are still six other untainted classes… 
This has been a common sentiment that a lot of people have echoed on this forum, including me. You’re not alone so I hope Blizzard takes that on board. I think they’d only do a rollback in a massively broken event like the Asia season start, but they’re also excellent at proving me wrong.

I never said to reset the LBs. Removing and banning the offenders should be sufficient.
or get rid of the modder cheaters…
or just give up on console after so many years of literal nothing happening to cheaters/modders.

Fix the exploit and wipe the leaderboards…
not a great solution because we still have bots/account sharing etc but it will fix the immediate GoD exploit

Cheaters are everpresent. The exploit came about through a bug in the software and they’ve been relatively rare over the last few years. Certainly since I returned to D3 in season 14 it has been quiet.
The last major one I can remember was star pact Wiz where it was almost impossible to play without automation except for a few spectacularly good players. I don’t think Blizz will leave this one alone for as long. 
If Blizzard reset s25 all players, I would rerun season journey for Diablo pet, then off afterwards the remaining of season.
Season restart is the only option here to save season 25. People should stop worrying about losing progression since all the paragons and the gear you farmed previous week in s25 would be transferred over to your non seasonal account.
Wait? You thought the leaderboards were meaningful to begin with?
To me the season isn’t in need of saving. IF this season has another name at the top of the boards affect me in zero ways. Should the cheaters be punished, sure, but I don’t see how reseting it would make a single thing different than just banning the offenders.

Its impossible to hand pick ban all exploiters, season restart is the least cost effective way.
Its only 1 week of progression, not difficult to re coup.
