Numlock isn’t cheating, Blizzard has said so, but I won’t argue with you about that.
On console on PC without Numlock, then GoD is a button mash fest. Refreshing FoK Bladed Armor and Vengeance, then also (if you’re using Preparation for full uptime on Shadow Power) Preparation, in addition to constant momentum management through manual Hungering Arrow Shots and pressing Shadow Power when needed.
Yeah, GoD is nothing but button mashes from beginning to end.
I feel for you on that front but it seems you’d be better off with another build.
GoD is tons easier to play when Numlock is managing cooldowns for you from FoK to Vengence to Preparation or Companion, letting you just control Strafe, Hungering Arrow and Shadow Power.
But again, numlock trick is not cheating. The evidence is that Blizzard allows it to be openly discussed and described how to do it and there’s a post somewhere where they actually say it isn’t against any rules whatsoever.
