Sure wish Nev would throw us bone.
Barb will be the fastest setup out of the gate even with belt nerf. It can join rats and meta as zdps. The problem you have is leveling a barb solo is now well pretty garbage when it comes to pushing. Group speeds your now stuck at rats as zdsp cause Whirlwind speeds now suck and cant keep up. Clearly making the class u need to pay for the OP setup. Overall barb will be good class to play but if you want para well ur force zdps like every season which is super sh*t.
“If ifs and buts were candy and nuts , we’d all have a merry Christmas.”
If I did a 150GR with a sword and board mage they would really nerf Chantodo.
They nerfed bazooka and archon, WW will not be an exception if it ends in the range that darkpatator or micro said.
So basically people has to be prepared for any scenario.
There’s no question we have to be prepared for Blizzard to do the stupidest thing possible but what iffing us into an unnecessary nerf based on no evidence of anything is counter to the purpose of the thread.
Blizz, your silence or inaction on this topic will not be tolerated
That should be still fine, since other classes are doing it right now anyway.

If on the outside chance whirlrend ends up being grossly overpowered, (it wont) then a lowering would be justified. But having it on par or even slightly lower for a single season beats having it permanently 10+ GR behind.

I see your point and i think it’s really valid, but if we are talking about possible scenarios we have to see if barbarian crew would accept a nerf if it ends being overpowered.
Why do we have to see that? Why do we have to talk about possibe scenarios at all. How about we talk about the possible scenario that multishot gets nerfed or anything else for that matter? Mayge, just maybe we should stick yo the topic instead. You can go away now please and thank you. Undo the nerf to lamentation.
lol
He made a SS build, I commented on it and referred to my build guide… He deleted my comment on youtube. He will probably claim that his unoptimized SS build is his discovery etc etc. These streamers are weird.

???
Depends on the nerf. If its the top build by 5 GR, then bringing it down in line would probably be accepted. If they try to put it back to 10 GR below the highest again, yeah, there is going to be anger. Think the chantodo nerf, that’s a balancing, not a complete gutting as the current lamentation from 200% to 0% would be.
Hmmm. Maybe change this for now
English it’s a language. Do you speak it?
But here’s the thing: Even if Barbs are on top of the leaderboards, so what?
One build is always, always going to edge out others across all classes. We’re far past the point where the devs have the time and resources to really tighten the screws and get all builds and/or classes to within 1 or 2 GR tiers of each other. In fact, it looks like the best we can get is the merry-go-round, where every class gets a Season or two to ride all by itself, the OP outlier, before letting someone else take a turn.
And that’s fine. GR 140 is the new solo standard, and GR 150 is the cap. We’re almost there, and we will get there sooner or later. Why shouldn’t Barb get a Season or two to feel what Chantodo’s felt? Why shouldn’t we get what other classes have felt? It’s been so very long since Barbs felt relevant or powerful in that way. I say we more than deserve our season in the sun.
Slam and HOTA builds are buffed, but only by a few tiers. Expect them to clear 129-133 or thereabouts. Maybe a tier or two higher. They really need even larger buffs.
Rather than posting caustic, passive-aggressive snipes, you might re-read the OP and see what’s in it.
If you don’t have anything constructive to add to the thread, exit.
Not true at all. The new Rend build has quite a few options for mitigation, and the easiest is to use Band of Might and Stomp, which works wonders with Into the Fray.
If you’re not very familiar with the build, ask in the Barb forum or read the current Zodiac guide. But please don’t post stuff like “WW Barb is squishy” when that really isn’t true. Here’s a good example:
You can wear Lamentation, drop IP completely, and run RoRG, Band of Might, and Zodiac. You can also Cube Lamentation, wear Cassius, and keep IP on the bar. You can fit Mortick’s or Parthans into either version, and you can fit Crimson’s onto any of the combinations I just listed. What’s more, some of the more notable clears abandoned Crimson’s altogether.
Thanks for asking.
No, it is not.
This isn’t as big a deal as you make it out to be. A similar thing occurs in EQ builds. Folks thought using Band of Might and giving up CoE would cripple our damage, and while the very highest clears do use CoE, some incredible low-Paragon clears with Band of Might reveal that the gap is not as large as you might think.
With WW, its even less since Crimson’s can essentially equal the average damage output of CoE over a rift.
Now this is a legit concern. But there are ways to make the build extra tanky.
First, use Zodiac + RoRG + Band of Might. Wear Mortick’s. Use Crimson’s. Put Stomp on the bar. If you use the IB set, use Swords to Ploughs. If you use BK, use Blood Funnel. If you want some extra, extra healing, use Blood Funnel with Swords to Ploughs, and make sure you have 1 million+ Life.
That plus Nerves should make it very, very hard to lose a toon.
But please understand that in general builds and items aren’t really focused around Hardcore play. I’m not saying that’s good or how things should be, but softcore is definitely the default game mode for itemization and build design.
I don’t think so. A better route would be to make sure the new Monk and Crusader sets are both 140+ worthy. Then make sure the new sets coming next patch are in the same boat. By the end of the new set releases, all classes will be comfortably pushing 140-150.
Besides, other classes are already clearing 140 and above. If Barbs clear 140-145+, it’s not a huge deal. Folks need to stop worrying about this.
but you only cherrypick data to suit your agenda, be gone knave!
Free if you want you can use the pics of Fjord Cutter, Lamentation and Remorseless in your OP:
Why should i have to do that ? as far as i know i have not say anything against the rend buff and overall i have not trolled anyone in this topic. So i have to leave just because you said ?
Sorry bud but i think that the fame went to your head at the point that you think you are able to decide who is good, who is a troll and who has to leave just because you want.
I have to say i have nothing against the ideas of buff barbarian and i fact i supported it for a bit, but your attitude nowadays it’s like the one of an egocentric celebrity, just because you are living your minute of fame in the forums.
Probably for posting this a lot of guys will come here to bash me and attack in horde, i don’t care tbh, after all is just random internet people, why should i care about that ?
I feel like at this point a thing that started as a really cool thing that the barbarian community created nowadays it’s not more than a crazy sect that thinks they the absolute truth.
For sure there are still cool dudes in the barbarian crew like Prokahn, i’m well aware this dude is legit and i hope he stay that way outside of this “i’m the leader of this thing and i can decide who is good who is troll and who has to leave”
I hope things don’t end bad for barbs, after all barb class deserves buffs. (And lets hope that darkpatator and microRNA are wrong, because if they said the truth you will lose a lot of credibility)
And what are saying darkpatator and microRNA ? i’m glad to hear that
