both is ok for me. its a QoL easier to play doesnt make the game easier, but thats my oppinion, others can have other oppinion.
with charm inventory . you get bigger inventorie.
This quote proves unequivocally that I am right. Blizzard said that they did not want a âgiant inventoryâ where people could have way more charms in their inventory than what they have now, leading to more power due to way more active charms.
It does not say that they are against a charm inventory (where charms only work in that dedicated inventory) where the number of maximum active charms is the same (or even less) than what is the current situation.
It does make the game easier. Less clicking. More gold. More gold=more gambles. More gambles=more items. More items=More good items. More good items=easier game.
P.S. f you really wanted to make a case against a dedicated charm inventory, I would be arguing not that it makes the game easier (which has been proven incorrect) but that it removes some decision-making.
charm inventori. more items pick up= more items in game=more better items= easier to get items`= easier gameâŚ
do you see how it workes?
you only pick up gold in the start. els self items . so gamble at low lvl sure(not much but alittel)
you still have to click wher you will go. so if the is gold you would have to click to move ther anyway. same same
it has not been proven incorrect to me. but to you yes. because you like the ide.
and i have also stated this in other threads, that you in on. so you knew i also put out this case.
I would argue that both auto-gold pickup and a dedicated charm inventory make the game easier to play and will make a subtle difference in game difficulty. This difference in game difficulty (that is primarily restricted solely to PvM) is dwarfed by other changes, most notably supporting non 4:3 screen resolutions and resetting gambling/vendors.
all people has 1$. now we give all 2$. so people dont get richer because all have the same?
iam not sure i understand this question?
In an economic sense, all people doubling their salary will lead to inflation and will not make people rich.
No it really doesnât, I think you have misconception about charm inventory. Charms would not work in normal inv, and you wouldnât be able to place other items into charm inv.
If you think it makes it bigger because you have no charms in your inventory, play D2 classic there are no charms in classic d2, they were added in LOD.
But I do think its big enough QOL/change that It should be in its own mode away from 1.14.
i give up. its obv you just troll, or really dont know, and just say random stuff.
you obv know what this is, and yet you try to turn it around.
i know this. i have never said anything els?
â
you get charm inventory+ another 10x4.= bigger inventory. befor you could only hold 10charms and no items+potiions and more. now you can have both= more space
ps play mod ther is the charm inventory
Except the current popular mods invariably do game injections that Blizzard has explicitly stated will not be allowed in D2R. As a result, many of the mod makers have stated that they will not update their mods to be D2R compliant. Therefore, the best solution is to have a well-designed charm inventory implemented by Blizzard.
Of note, Blizzard has stated that they are looking at common feature in mods that hardcore D2 fans as a guide as to which QoL features to introduce in D2R. A charm inventory is a common mod feature.

âAnother thing is that looking at the mod community, it is a nice kind of litmus test to know, âoh, this audience â the hardcore audience â they like these types of things.â We didnât just say, âoh, take everything this mod does or take everything that mod does,â it was more about whether the community would hate this quality of life change or not. So it was nice to look at the community and see, âoh, well actually 90% of the mods out there do this one thing.ââ
he told me to play classic or Lod i tell him to play mod. what dont u understand here?
Again classic d2 had no charms, the game played almost exactly the same. It was just as fun and you had to manage your inventory.
Mods change too much about the game, they also donât have the UI polish that I would like to see with the charm inventory addition. There is also no true online multiplayer with mods, so please spare me your condescension.
i know d2 classic dont have charms
thats the point. i say charm inventory in d2r will make tha game easier, and iam not for it.
but anyway. iam out. the real world is calling
Yet classic d2 is arguable harder then LOD.
If implemented correctly, it will not make the game easier. I get that your not for it, and it wouldnât effect you if it were made into a new mode with other changes like minor skill balance and instanced loot.
ps next time you ask a quistion. doo so, so people can understand.
and sorry if i dont remember stuff for 20 year ago.
There are many things that affect game difficulty. The simple fact is that some are more impactful than others. If you are ok with non 4:3 screen dimensions (e.g. 16:9, 21:9, 32:9) and auto-gold pickup, my feeling is that any QoL change that may affect game difficulty needs to be used in comparison. I would simply say that a trivial change in game difficulty should not be excluded in comparison to multiple changes that you want that impact the game far more.
yes its harder. charms makes Lod easier. then with charms and space for items makes it even easier
