Error code 395002. I can't log in Diablo 3

I can’t log in the game. I get the error code 395002.

I tried all these following steps and none them solved the issue.

Method 1: Log out of the game then log back in

The best way to fix this issue is to log out of the game. Wait for a few seconds before logging back in. This will refresh the game data and usually fix the problem.

Time needed: 5 minutes.

Method 2: Run the Repair tool to fix the Diablo 3 Error Code 395002

This tool will fix any corrupted or damaged game file that can be causing this problem.

Open the Blizzard Battle.net desktop app.
Click the icon of the game you are trying to repair.
Click Options
Click Scan and Repair.
Click Begin Scan.
Wait for the repair to finish.

Method 3: Switch to a different game region then switch back

Switching regions will refresh the game cached data and will usually fix this problem.

Open the Blizzard Battle.net desktop app.
Click the icon of the game.
Select a different region. You can do this by clicking the globe icon.
Switch back to the original region.

Method 4: Delete the Battle.net files

If the problem is caused by corrupted Battle.net files then you will need to delete these files.

Close all Agent, Blizzard Battle.net desktop app, and game processes from the Task Manager.
Press Windows Key + R to open the Run dialogue.
Type C:\ProgramData\ into the Open field and press Enter.
Delete the Battle.net folder.
Run Battle.net and update the game.

Method 5: Uninstalling and reinstalling Diablo 3

None of these methods fixed the issue. Please fix this as soon as possible.

This is a really weird issue and I can’t fix this by myself or on my side. It needs to be fixed by Blizzard directly. Please, fix this today because I’ve paid for the game and I can’t play it.

As you can see on that thread via the link below, that issue happened in the past and the only way to get it resolved is to have some HELP by Blizzard. Please fix it! I can’t play!

*** Is there a way to have any help please? I didn’t receive any reply from Blizzard yet! Please HELP ME! ***

Is there a way that we can have any sort of assistance from Blizzard? There is a lot of players having the same issue and no replies from Blizzard as we do already know that issue can’t be fixed by players/customers. Just read that post: Error Code 395002 Can't Load Hero List - #25 by Maskraider-3992

Please Blizzard for the sake of GOD, fix this issue so we can play the game again.

I am receiving the same error. I redownloaded the game today after a few years and was able to login. After that, I wanted to create a new character. When I finalized the new character, there was an error and I closed the game. Now I am getting 395002 every time I attempt to login in the Americas region. I can’t get past the authentication screen. Very frustrating as all the fixes I have read online do not work.

same bug here, just create a new mmonk on seasonal and paff error code 395002

I see a lot of players having the same issue now (395002 error code) but no replies from Blizzard yet. I sent a ticket to Blizzard about 10 hours ago. I want to play this game but I can’t right now and no answers from Blizzard. Please, fix this terrible issue. I’m really unhappy at the moment.

Interesting. I also am getting the same error after creating a seasonal Monk…

same issue here waiting for any fix

Hmmm… you may have something there…

First paragraph of Conta danificada, incapacidade de logar, herois - Suporte Técnico - Diablo 3 Forums says (in Portugese):

Today when creating a hardcore character (A MONK), trying to confirm the name, the game froze and I was disconnected. When trying to log in again, it started to show the error 395002 of not being able to load the hero.

Thank you for your post. I read the post that was in portuguese and i’ve even replied to it. This is exactly what’s happening to me as well. We are a lot of players with the same issue but Blizzard didn’t even reply to our ticket. I sent my ticket at around 12:00 PM EST on September 14th 2022. It’s been like about 11 hours and 15 minutes now. So we need to wait 24 hours for the sake of playing a game that we already paid for? I don’t get that at all. Please Blizzard, fix this so we’ll be able to play Diablo 3 again.

You sound like an entitled brat, spamming isn’t going to help and expecting immediate help on a 10 year old game is unrealistic, you just need to be patient. I’m also experiencing this issue and it’s a little annoying, but you just need to wait it out. They’ll get to it eventually, whining or making multiple posts isn’t going to get you help any sooner

There is no need to spam the forum.

I understand that you want to play, but give the time to CMs to report the problem to the Devs, and to the Devs to see what it happens.

A post every 2 hours won’t make things move faster.

I just want to have an answer about what’s going on. You have the right of accepting what’s going on and I have the right of being pissed off because of lack of information about what’s going on. You can consider that as spamming but I haven’t insulted anyone. If this issue would apply to every players then I would understand. Thing is right now, I see all my friend’s list playing the game while I can’t and the only answer that you guys are giving me is to be patient and not saying anything and that’s not a valid argument for me. Thank you anyway for your reply as I would have thought that everybody that is in the same boat should have shown sticking all together asking Blizzard how important it is to fix this.

It’s incredibly evident how important fixing an issue that is preventing multiple players from playing the game is and we’ve let Blizzard know we’re experiencing this issue and that’s all we can do at this point.

While expressing your unhappiness with your situation and the speed at which blizzard is taking action about this issue may make you feel better, it literally does nothing to help the situation and just makes you come off as entitled and impatient. You’re free to do so though just as I’m free to call you out on it while we both wait for this issue to be looked at. You also won’t hear anything until at least tomorrow since their standard office hours are over and they aren’t going to call in any developers to investigate an issue with a 10 year old game only a couple of people are experiencing

I do understand your point but i don’t feel that you understood my point unfortunately. It’s like as if I would have said something bad to you but in fact I’m talking to Blizzard not to you personally as you said that I sound like as an entitled brat and it’s not kind at all by the fact that I don’t know you personally. Thank you anyway for your reply. It’s easy to say to others being patient if that situation doesn’t apply to you and if you are also been affected by 395002 error code then yeah I can say that you are more patient than me and based on your post I sound like the whinny guy as in fact I just want an answer/fix and I still insist that no matter how long this game exists isn’t a valid argument to say ok we have to wait because that game got released more than 10 years ago. For sure, if that would have happened in World of Warcraft as a game that got released more than 15 years ago, that would have been fixed way faster. Yeah of course, there’s a monthly subscription fee involved versus none for Diablo 3. Another such valid argument that Blizzard could say for me to stop “spamming” posts as they said.

Thanks anyway and sorry again if I’ve made too many posts. I didn’t know that it was such a big offense to people just to ask to have an answer/fix for a game that I already have paid for.

First of all, yes I am also experiencing this issue. I tried to create a season Demon Hunter and the game crapped out on me and now I can’t even get to my character select screen.

I just want an answer/fix and I still insist

Like I said, you can insist or ask all you want but it’s not going to change how long it takes Blizzard to respond to this or fix it.

Thanks anyway and sorry again if I’ve made too many posts

You’re made TEN posts about it over 3 different threads in the last 12 hours, does that not seem like too much to you?

It sounds like it does bother you if I’ve replied to many posts in different threads. It sounds like that you have something against me or something. If it offenses you that I’m asking Blizzard by insisting to tell us what’s going on and then to fix the issue so I do apologize. I didn’t know that we weren’t allowed to ask that on posts/forums.
How many posts/replies/threads do Blizzard allow us to write?
If it doesn’t bother you to have that same issue that many players have you have the right to not being bothered by that. However, players that are unsatisfied about that can express how they feel about it and I don’t think it’s a shame or whatever to ask about what’s going on with this issue. If nobody cares about something of course you can be 100% sure that nothing will happen and that issue will take way longer to get fixed. However if many players do care about what’s happening and ask Blizzard to fix this then we might get a quicker response fix. You presume ahead that asking or not asking or insisting or not insisting won’t change anything about how quick this issue will be resolved. I do respect your opinion. However, we aren’t all obliged to agree on that statement. Some other players do think that if we ask something then the odds of this issue to get solved faster might be better and we never know. Thank you anyway. Nothing against you again. It’s all about Blizzard not you or any other players in fact.

What do you think asking 6 times is going to do that only asking once isn’t?

Yes, that’s exactly why I came to the forums here and added my name to the list of people that are experiencing this issue

The more people an issue is impacting the higher priority an issue will be, I realize this which is why I came here to let blizzard know that I’m also asking. But yes, I’m saying that one person making multiple posts insisting or asking Blizzard to fix the issue doesn’t help how quickly it gets fixed. And I’m not assuming this, I know this which is why I mentioned it to you. And to be clear, I’m not saying to not communicate the problem or ask for a fix, I’m saying that doing it multiple times in a short time span while adding no new information does absolutely nothing to get help any faster

I really thought that this was just me. I’m kinda glad I’m not alone on this because that means Blizzard will actually do something about it.
