With the seasons ethereal weapons giving a huge power boost you’d of hoped that the leading players and twitchers would set a standard by actively not botting; alas no. It seems that amongst many players this is the way to progress, Blizzard please set a standard and gain the respect of the many honest players that enjoy your game. We are watching you and going forward need to know that you are proactive in discouraging botters before we consider buying D4. Kind regards Z

Who’s we? And because of recent eventes i think blizz have bigger problems than watching for bots. Also they may not have the resource and man power, to bot watch. I might ad that D3 is on life support regarding these things, so i highly doubt there are going to be ban waves anytime soon.

This has been an issue for a long time. Even streamers use 3 party macros and programs even though not allowed. I meet botters a lot when I run bounty runs. Seems like there is nothing being done for it.

The popularity of poe has sky rocketted with d3 players. Chat and find out which game they prefer and why they arent playing it. go to the rosbot web site and read for yourselves the cancer they spawn. By chosing to ignore and tacitly condone cheating what does that tell us about the future integrity of d4? Maybe once they have our cash by the millions they will lose interest in us all again? The small community of cheats is deterring the silent majority that want to play properly and compete against each other. a friend says “why buy a game for my computer to play?”

They did 2 ban waves last season and this drama unfolding at Blizzard has been going on for awhile now. Yes they will ban, but when is not known.
I’m not interested in ban waves becasue i don’t give a damn about the ladder.
I think it’s a little different now, that it’s out in the public, and a state actually sueing them.

Lol I’m an honest player, and I couldn’t care less about bots. Respect for developers is earned when
- they maintain frequent communication
- they don’t make stupid decisions that ruin the in-game fun of people like pointless nerfs, gating content behind paywalls, implementing stupid game systems that make the game NOT fun
- they show some appreciation towards the people who pay their bills, aka US.

Diablo 3 has been a botters paradise for many seasons they do no ban waves they do a minor ban of maybe 5-15 people a season usually the ones who go full retard in get super hi there not gonna do a ban wave of cheaters lol would kill a already dying game completely lol… !!
You either accept they dont give a rat turd about the legit player base or you say screw it play for fun with friends in dont compete or QUIT d3 … !!
In for the ones who say there is no issue with the bots they dont care etc … They are mindless sheep in a big problem with what is wrong in the world … !!

A cat and mouse game with botters won’t ever make the leaderboards competitive. Most people probably don’t even care or want to compete on them.
The easiest way to add more competition to them would be to cap paragon in seasons and increase the droprate of ancients and primals in higher grifts so people can more quickly get onto the same power level and then compete at the same power level. In the end most people would find it boring to compete on the leaderboard anyway and still not bother.
At this rate the D4 bots will be available before D4 public release so they wont miss a beat.

Miracles are easy, thought I’d have a go at the impossible Regardless of that It’s been on my mind and that of my fellows when in discussion on discord. Better to try and fail than not try at all!
and to further compound it today we have a major streamer posting a video and boasting he has run a full day of bounties with a friend for thousands of materials. only last week he commented on the guy botting. argggggg
Botting should not become a standard and is destroying our game and servers.
Blizz, we need some integrity here, not banning of a few.
The super obvious hackers and already doing what they do best.
We need multiple banwaves every season OR an affective realtime anti cheat

Do you have an attention problem or smth? You complain after banwave, 1st week of season till next banwave, and then rinse and repeat immediatly after?

I fail to see a single complaint.
I request that more action be taken since they missed tons of botters.
Many times the D3 community have thanked the hacks team for taking action and would love to see more of it!
If you have an issue with a legit player wanting botters banned then perhaps you can start your own post rather than troll this OPs or mine in the main thread. It isn’t working.

Press or journalism cant do crap. Money is the only thing what matters.
Pay Per Hour is effective way to kill bots and trolls and gold-sellers. Who wanna bot if it cost money? If 1 hour cost 50 cents, 60 bucks gives you 120 hour of fun.
Btw. Since we have tons of Drama in game industry, why not to do Drama RPGs. Its massive business at least in tv-shows and movies. Suggested it to CDPR actually. They could be the Drama Queens.
