Diablo IV System Requirements

Hello Nephalems…

I was wondering if anyone knew the PC Specs of the D4 Test PC During Blizzcon?

Also I was wondering if anyone had a prediction of Minimum and Recommended Requirements?

I can’t imagine that it would take anything more than what is already available on the market.

I’m coming into some money soon and I don’t want to over spend for a PC that is too much to handle as I only play Blizzard games on my PC. I currently have a laptop that won’t play D4, I know that for sure. So I want a PC that would be just right for D4 and I don’t want to pay for more than I need. I build PCs for a living but I can’t justify buying more than I need. I want to save money but at the same time I want to be able to play the game.

Look at current D3 recommended specs to be the minimum or slightly better. I’d expect 2000 rtx or equivalent for the GPU.

If you are having trouble running D3 now, you should upgrade. If you are able to run it well, you may still need to upgrade to keep D4 running the same.

D3 is an almost 10 year old game.

Going with the D2R specs or whatever is top for any current Blizzard game is the best bet right now.

D4 is a ways down the road so expect it to be way above D3.

gotta be higher than d2r,

and d2r is somewhat high requirement, ive tried it

Just checked the D2R min specs and they are slightly better than the D3RoS recommend specs. D3 didn’t require top end hardware to run well. D2R doesn’t currently. D4 will not either. I doubt I’ll have an issue with a 10900k and a 3070. But then that’s overkill for any ARPG.

Still I’m sure if you can run D3 well today, you can run D4. It will be rough, like D1 on a 486 rough, but it can be done.

D3 runs on my 2013 laptop. D2R does not. I really don’t expect D4 to run on my laptop.

D3 is speced for PS3
D4 is speced for PS4
D5 is speced for PS5

if your PC is as good as PS5…you hv no worries. PS5 is last gen RTX2000 series equivalent.

my series s is beefier than my pc. much lower.

I guess I need to start saving for an RTX card now then…

Actually, unless they recently updated anything, the PS5 wasn’t on their radar when development started so mast likely it would line up closer to the PS4/PS4pro than PS5.
