Diablo 2 Resurrected in Review and the Case for a Charms-only inventory: Will it fix a 20 year old Problem?

Holy necro.

I still think this is a good idea and can be made so that when hostiled it locks inventory or something so pvp concerns aren’t a thing.

But i’m not going to refund if i don’t get it or something. If you don’t mf with a cube or leave with whats likely the best item in the run with a free +8 inventory slots you’re just hurting yourself. Pretending that the inventory tetris in this game this is somehow skilled gameplay in its own right just seems wrong when its readily invalidated in a quantifiable way(+8 slots/cube) with basically 0 consequences. You can already achieve ‘extra space’ where there is no trade-off in terms of power vs inventory space by doing this. A charms-only inventory can just be a space for where charms exist and are active only in that spot - it doesn’t have to change the pvp balance in any way in terms of # of charms etc.
