Oh you’re trying to say that these employees are overworked? Isn’t it a free country, where those employees can find another company to work for if the working conditions suck?
Stock holm syndrome is a real thing that overworked and abused employees succumb to; especially ones that have families to take care of.
Okay, well be as that may, it’s entirely on them to change their situation if they’re in an abusive environment - regardless of what obligations they have outside of the workplace.
That’s a lot easier said then done my friend.
Are you sure? Being fed up with it and telling your boss “I quit” is a pretty simple thing to do.
Anyway, I’m done with this conversation.
Yup, if the original creator of Diablo 2 still worked for the company, he definitely would of implemented a patch for a personal loot option into the game like he wanted to.
Anyway, this thread is a great example of how bad these forums have become. People with no arguments, just strawmanning and attacking each other (with their inner fears or whatever this is)
Why? You really are not helping your case.
Indeed. This is the solution, and it is good to see more people coming around to it.
I love how every thread is now just filled with hundreds of back n forth comments from the same 12 people about “No changes this is a remaster” or “needs tons of changes are this game dies!” and various semantic arguments about the words Remaster VS remake.
Remember that thread someone made about Mercenaries? it got like 20 comments and then died. No one actually wants to talk about the game, they just want to fight people like this is twitter.
Eh, which ones would that be?
“Why? You really are not helping your case.”
I think my statement is self-explanatory, as were my many statements in favor of you having your own unmergable realm with whatever features you want.
Then, when D3.5 fails, you may reconsider and won’t have ruined the experiences of those who wanted more authentic gameplay.
Yeah, we completely agree on the separate realms. That was not the point.
You and your side are in the minority. Technically you guys are the entitled crowd; screaming your opinion is the only one that matters, but your opinion represents such a small minority of people.
I like how I could just copy your argument delete “Again” and make argument as valid as yours.
That’s what I’ve been saying and advocating as well, I Believe there could be new content and still have the D2 feel. It’s the same game Engine with pretty graphics.
they don’t need power creep if anything they should make the game harder with any additional content. and make any Added runewords = or comparable to grief but different bases. My prespective is If they’re gonna revitalize a classic with renewed support and a good team behind the game YES I want these things polled on Maybe even room for some more changes, I believe diablo2 is one of the best games Ever made and it could Reinforce that with some Modernization and new content… after 21+ years on the market Many Modern games Such as WoW POE are updated Much more frequently then what D2 has ever seen.
Good Devs
Don’t listen to those entitled sad souls that want the game to stay perfectly as it was back when they were still happy with their lives
Non of those things listed are not that bad.
Then… what was the point other than you trying to explain how your views are what should be imposed on all because you believe certain math checks out when it doesn’t (save me the false calculation “explanation” you all get from your sites built by D3 players – I ignore them)?
I’ve already advocated for what you want – you can have your own realm that is seperate from everyone else who wants the authetnic experience. No mergability and anytime you try to hack your character onto that realm, immediately deletion needs to commence (sorry for gear loss, but hurt feeling < your inability to inject crappy mechanics into a realm meant for other purposes.)
Do we really disagree over this?
It is quite interesting that nearly everyone seem to agreee that the changes in OP are fine. Guess this forum is not so far off from the general population after all.
It was to show the way you and some other people “argue”, and how it is saddening.
Huh, there was no math in my previous post here?
My math always checks out however!
Nope. 100% agreed.
“It was to show the way you and some other people “argue”, and how it is saddening.”
We have no argument. I just conceded you can have whatever you want in your own realm. I have done this for multiple days now in other threads.
“Huh, there was no math in my previous post here?
My math always checks out however!”
Then have your own realm and prove it. You can permanently play with plooters only and there should be no issue.
“Nope. 100% agreed.”
So then I must ask as I did in #1 - what is the issue?
Since it seems like there has been some confusion in the above, I will go back to where these responses originated.
Stuff like this is the issue:
People unable to make an argument, reverting to being sad instead.
But again, it is great that we agree on the substance!
D2R should add two different realms; No Changes, preserving D2 1.14 as it was, and Changes, adding whatever new stuff (with better names of course).
As has been confirmed quite a few times now, we agree on this.
To be perfectly honest…
I wouldn’t mind that much if blizzard added all of those, as long as “minor spell balancing” means buffs to the weaker builds and not nerfs to the strong ones.
