Were you not here when D3 was released? This board was just ravaged by toxic D2 fans raging constantly for months. They are the reason why the Blues stopped posting here because every time they did, they would get dogpiled with hate. And let’s not forget the personal attacks on Jay Wilson for months and months. Those were all D2 fans doing that.
Even more recently with the d2r release, have you already forgotten the ridiculous level of toxicity when that game has some tech issues at release?
The quote “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned” should be changed to Hell hath no fury like an angry D2 fan on a message board.

I didn’t meant specificly you, i ment it like a general attitude. If we are not better than those nutjobs, we can’t point fingers at them. Like if you show the same levels of toxicity, you can’t call them out being toxic. Also why get angry about people, who are so quick to judge, they don’t even try to play the game? They think because they played one game for 15 years, they know everything about games like these. They are pathetic, and laughable. I do not like them either, but i like D2 though, i like all diablo games, they are all different, and appreciate them for what they are. Will this also make me a D2 fandiot? I hope not.
I would like to write something like D1 + PoE, because it’s not like D3 and D2, but as compare with Diablo franchise it’s close to D3, than D2 (on 80% cuz old engine).
I played D1 (xx thousand hours), D2 (xx thousand hours), D3 (10h+, no assassin class, tried as Witch doctor,… but class was too slow for me), PoE (xx thousand hours).
And I can tell You one thing, most ppl would like to really disagree with D4, just because archer-rogue, no claws, pc requirements (few ppl bought D2R and than they cannot play,… cuz higher req. so came back to D2), 100% internet connection, etc. But Diablo 4 looks really good, they have “really good player base” (don’t know after D:I), but it could steal some % from PoE player base, after last “seasons”… let’s see.
D4 is D3 with “super dark gritty” ™ atmosphere and graphics. It is repeating 99% of the mistakes that D3 made, including the insane reliance on cooldowns and the horrible UI with zero customization.
Probably because D3 was still selling.

D3 combat with D2 environments = WIN
Not for me. I played D3 a lot, because it was a new game in many aspects in comparison to D2. Same with D2/D1. And D4 is just a 10 years old copypaste, unfortunately. For me even D:I is more innovative with its skill combo system - this was a step in a right direction. But D4 should be full of such steps and what we see… meh.
I have never watched this guy’s videos, but the ones that pop up and the insignificant amount I saw were always negative. He can “literally” squeeze the life, joy, and every bit of fun out of every game he reviews or comments on. Especially when he does it with games that he has never played and doesn’t have any prior experience with.
I haven’t watched many of his videos but pretty much every gaming related one is kind of irritating. Like the reaction videos and so on. The ones where he is being more just himself are actually pretty cool, like a few of him just sitting cosily in his treehouse talking about life. There he seems like a pretty cool guy. I think he has those on a different channel though.
Also his episode on HealthyGamerGG was really really good.
I played the D4 closed BETA for 15 minutes, it’s is a rewrapped WoW. As I told Bliz in the feedback, I won’t be buying it. Forced multiplayer is too much. If I wanted multiplayer, I’d likely play WoW but I don’t and never did and never will. The Diablo franchise is dead.
