Yea âŚ
Maybe they also add some Mushrooms to it, so everyone is happy
Mushrooms would be fine as long as when you pick the toxic ones youâre screen gets green for some time haha.
Iâm not seeing this. Where is it again?
Dont take it too far XD
Dont wanne have a Pony-LvL / Rainbow-Screen coz of them
:X
Itâs on two places - near the route the fight is and some seconds after that on the route she passes.
Age doesnât matter. Clicking something isnât dependent on age. If we removed anything that a child could do, we wonât have anything left to do. Are we going to be solving calculus problems to have our loot drop? No, we like the general formula. I click a monster, he drops loot so I click loot. I put loot on. I click thing in world, it benefits or harms me. I want a bonus so I click the shrine I found. I want whatever the herb is about so I click the herb. Itâs about exploring as much as it is problem solving. These small, simple pieces are what make up the totality of the game. Theyâre are all things a 6 year old can do. My little brother was about 7 when he started playing Diablo 2.
Anyway, age aside, simplicity leading to depth is one of the genres greatest strengths
Yes, but why the herb should give you a reward not achievable anywhere else in the game? Do you realize you go in the opposite direction of anti-botting design - even the most simple bot would be able to pick-up these flowers. The big rewards in the game should come from solving/completing the big problems, those that are hard to be botted.
Well now weâre talking about something completely different. They just need to make sure they stay on top of botting. We canât keep worrying about bots or weâll also have nothing left to do in the game. Bots can level characters. Bots can farm loot. Bots can do everything. Itâs up to Blizzard to make sure theyâre kept to a minimum.
Skelos, are you arguing for the sake of arguing now? If they added potion crafting, herb collecting makes sense. Just like in D3 where we had to break down items to make other items.
If they include herbalism in D4 and itâs not something you enjoy, then donât do it. Simple as that. But comparing herb picking to something that 6 year old can do, and therefore shouldnât be in D4, is a dumb argument. A 6 year old could be taught to play D4 from start to finish. Oops, better scrap the whole game by your logic.
That would be the Key-Dungeons.
But to do them, you need Gear, Runes and Potions / Scrolls
And for the Potions / Scrolls, you can decide, either you buy them for horrendously high Prices frome someone.
Or you do it yourself, by grinding the Mats, so you can produce them yourself.
Then you have a badly designed aRPG if thatâs the case - a bot or 6-year old completing it fully.
I have nothing against grinding anything through combat, I have however against being a farmer in a game that presents me with the role of a character that is killing demons.
There isnât much action in collecting flowers and we are talking about action RPG.
Hereâs a question. Would you say D3 is too hard for a 6 year old to complete from start to finish? If you say yes, youâd be wrong.
Follow-up question. Do you still play D3? If yes, why? A 6 year can finish it.
Iâd say a bot or 6 year old can not beat a top D3 player at pushing/high GR where the rewards are highest.
No no no. Donât start changing the questions around to suit your agenda.
I never asked if a 6 year old could beat up the incredible hulk if he was a real person.
I asked if a 6 year could complete D3 from start to finish.
And what comes before the push ?
Right
Farming ^^
At least 260 Speed-Grifts, so that you have you 13x100 Augments + 60 for your Maingems + 20 Maybe to have already your Stricken at lvl 100
Not speaking of all the Bountys, to reroll your Items
And for all this Grifts, you need to farm normal Rifts, so that you can get the Keys
I donât know and how is this related to what we are discussing? The point is that what the 6 year old can complete should give a reward for a 6 year old. Since a 6 year old canât complete GR150 solo, he donât gets this reward rather he goes and collects flowers.
Letâs call it with itâs real name - botting. When you make easy to complete mechanics you get bots. Be sure botters are to run the flowers in D4 24/7 if these offer good rewards.
No, no and no again. There arenât special item rewards for completing GR 150. There is only personal satisfaction.
Youâre the one who started in with what 6 year olds can do.
Iâll be more specific. Could a 6 year old complete the campaign from start to finish. If yes, should we get rid of the campaign mode?
Everything in an A-RPG kinda should be about combat. That is the A in the name after all. Hence why I am a bit negative about flower-picking.
However, it certainly can be addressed. Heck, even WoW has done this.
When you pick a flower there is a 10% chance that some boss spawns âYou take no flower!â.
2% of the time you pick a flower, but no, its a trap! and you are ported into a desire demons flower power realm.
(some amount of sarcasm might have been used in this post⌠but also not really. You know you want it)
But in the End.
Whats the Differance between Flower picking, instead of grinding lower Kurast for 70+ Hours and always take a Stop at the Super-Cheasts ?
Its the same thing. You hope for an extra.
