D4 Beta invites. Did you get yours?

I think Blizzard need to open the beta to 2 sorts of player (and it’s sound like it was the case).

“Hardcore” players & Casual players.

They need to have the resentments (don’t know if it’s the good traduction) of the two parts.

I thought I heard them say something about, and I’m paraphrasing, “spent a significant amount of time in end game”.

That’s not me.

I am not a casual player. I play each days. But I don’t play all the day and all the night (working, spending time with my family, sleeping…).

Indeed. I was just saying that it doesn’t seem to be a matter of hardcore play, based off some reports coming in.

There has to be some realistic expectations though. I doubt most people really understand NDAs, particularly when you’re asking the general public to help participate. They know 100% there’s going to be leaks, even in terms of gameplay.

But as far as whether or not to discuss if you’ve got in, that’s still simple to deduce.

Did you get in?

Person who didn’t get in? “No”

Any person who got in and doesn’t immediately answer with no, or is dodging the issue is practically a yes.

Technically, no one has “gotten in” yet. Apparently, they just have got invites that give them a chance to be selected. lol

The “Season Pass” is free and the same thing as Season now basically. Just a fancy term. The only paid things are Cosmetics. You can’t buy anything that gives any advantages supposedly.

As long as they fill out the required stuff by the deadline and don’t do something dumb like share the email or images of it…they should be in. At least that is how I think it is.

I believe it says directly that the account has been selected. Note, there will be no keys given. Access is directly enabled on the account when the time comes.

The email is the invite.

But unlike typical Bliz betas, whether or not the invitee is granted access depends on if they formally agree to and adhere to the NDA.

The “chance” others are talking about is not a random chance. It’s just whether or not one agrees to the terms, and whether or not one violates them.

Ok, thanks for the clarification.

Leviathan, I had to re-quote you like 3 or 4 times, your post kept changing! lol
:stuck_out_tongue:

Lol yeah sorry! I’m just being super careful selecting my words.

I even changed it once since you posted (typo fix and addition).

I totally agree. That post was 1 part serious and 3 parts jest.

I laughed harder than I should at that.

They also look at your hardware specifications. If your pc is from 2009 you probably won’t get in. Don’t be offended. Just upgrade!

For those that got the invite and will have a chance to get a glimpsy of the game first hand, I just want clarification about… will it be worth to buying at launch or a great wait till patch 1.39.7895446 re-release.

I stopped playing D3 last week, after completing the season and reaching GR100+ with 4 classes (GR125 with my DH). And I’ve been playing D2R every day since then, even before the patch 2.5.

Only D:I I touched only once, the day it was released lol

I guess there is no restriction by country, right?

Then you have a high chance to make into the invitation list…

Not sure. The blog doesn’t mention regional restrictions, however, test phases are typically only performed in the AM region.

For me, an “hardcore” player is your profil, play every days, 1 or 3h per day, It’s not a player that play 8h per day

Blizzard blacklisted me, confirmed!

Grats, Beefy.

I am waiting on my invite.

Did you get an email? Or was the invitation FedEx’d?

Hang in there, there’s still time.

You should receive an email.

You have until November 18th to receive an email invite. If not, then there’s still the open beta early next year.
