Is there any ETA on getting the D3 armory back online?
There is a bug in game where players in season attempt to join groups and they are presented with an error message stating that:
A) the game they are trying to join is not in season
B) the player they are trying to invite is not in season
So far the only workaround that I’ve come across is clearing the battle.net cache folder on the PC. Here are the steps:
Assumption: Windows user name is “jerry” (without quotes).
1 - Close the D3 game completely.
2 - Close the launcher completely (verify that it is not hiding in the system tray).
3 - Close the Agent.exe in the process list (Task Manager).
4 - Navigate to the user profile folder (ex: c:\users\jerry)
** replace jerry with your user name **
5 - Go into explorer folder properties and enable show hidden files, folders, and drives (remember to click apply)
6 - A folder named “AppData” should appear. Go into that folder.
7 - Within the c:\users< user name >\AppData folder, there will be a folder called ~Battle.net~ (without the tilda symbols). Rename the folder to “__old_battle_net”.
8 - Go back into explorer folder properties and disable show hidden files, folders.
You can now reload the Blizzard launcher and start D3. You should be able to invite and request invite with others who are playing on seasonal characters.
