Confirmation on the FB/ MI interaction was intended?

Just wondering, if anyone has seen anything posted about the FB/ MI nerf. I was looking around and I can’t find anything indicating that this change was intentional, and knowing Blizzard, I can see it not being done on purpose when they changed the set bonus.

So the the old set bonus powers are back (3000% and 5000%) except the 6 piece bonus doesn’t work with Mirror Images… Maybe it’s time to find out what the (manual) Flameblades build is all about?

Thanks for the reply. I did see that post, but there is NOTHING in the patch notes about them nerfing the interaction. All we have is speculation that it was done intentionally.

It wasn’t nerfed. It was removed. The patch notes clearly says so:
" Firebird’s Finery (6-piece bonus): You gain 5000% increased damage while Ignite is applied to a target. Hitting an Ignited enemy with a non-channeling fire spell deals Ignite damage multiplied by Combustion stacks.Pets cannot trigger this effect"

So it does. Guess I missed that part.
