Getting a Code 317002 Error when trying to start a Challenge Rift. EU
Already restartet everything. Client is up to date.
Seems the server is unavailable… Adventure Mode works fine

Getting this error with every mode now myself, servers are dead I think.

yup! keep getting this as well! just on the CR for me! been like this since the authentication failure!
Just adding smoe info here since i already contacted Blizard Support about this error.
Their first response was the full copy-paste “update your drivers / reset setting / repair the game / delete Battle.net Tools” routine even though i clearly explained in my initial ticket i had already done all standard troubleshooting. Not exactly encouraging when multple players are reporting the same issue at the same time.
After pushing bavk, they basucally admitted that:
The problem is not client.side
Challenge Rist servers or backend systems are the most likely cause
Customer Support cant escalate this internally
And we’re all ecxpeted to file bug reports individually even if itæs obiously a wider server issue.
So in short i tried going through support, they werent willing ot able to actually help beyibd generic scripts. At this point it seems pretty clear the issue is in Blizzards end, not ours. Hopefully the right team notices soon.
Same problem here Error 317002 . I know Blizzard since day 1 . Some things will never change.

Just make the game offline already if they abandoned D3 anyway ffs….

For real. There is no reason the single-player version needs to be online, and we’ve been saying this since the bloody thing launched. Wanting to relax by turning some monsters into fine paste should not be interrupted by this kind of nonsense.

While there are no known issues from our end when looking into the error code that you’ve provided, we’ve noticed that several players have reported on this same error code recently, as you can follow up on the discussion here:
They do t seem to know anything. I have however found I can play on other regions, but that means starting again.
