Client hacked and possibly account?

I think my game download was hacked or blizzard was hacked.

I received a couple of odd messages on Path of Exile along with some other odd happenstances trying to get me to go back into the messaging system on PS4. Also a bunch of the rare mobs were renamed to seem like they were targeting me to scare me (I’ve played the game about 500-800 hours on POE and 2700 hours on d3. Then, I played D3 and the first rare mob was called “Infectus” and this was after and then they also had some rare mobs that seemed oddly named that I never remembered being anywhere in the game. Also, some of the crafted items had odd named like a daibo was a spade and then there was killij, shamshir, etc. that I don’t remember being in the game.

Account issues should not be discussed on the forums. You need to contact support if you think your Account has been hacked.

In the meantime, you might want to change your Account password, just to be safe.

Strange messages in PoE have nothing to do with Diablo 3.

None of the mobs you described in Diablo 3 are unusual. The game code there is all server side and has not been changed by outsiders.
