Cheaters on twitch

Hey guys. I think we need to talk about this.

There seems to be some sentiment that it is okay to show your hacks on twitch in D3.

This isn’t the first occurrence of this. In case you didn’t know, you can actually report people to twitch for cheating!

Here’s a quick how to!

On the next screen, you just fill in why you are reporting them, what they are using, and add a timestamp.

Oh and don’t forget to report them to hacks@blizzard.com as well!

In before the sock patrol comes in “It’s ok because they’re streamers!”

I wonder if Twitch is as wishy washy when reporting as Blizzard is?

Good question. Let’s find out together! Go look at the livestreams of D3, and you can clearly see, people using zoomhack etc. Start reporting and keeping track and we’ll see if it gets anywhere! I’ve begun keeping track today. I’ll let you know in here when I see some changes.

The way to know if someone is banned on twitch is that the picture with “unless you got a time machine” will pop up instead of their stream page.

Normally cheaters are secretive about their shenanigans to avoid being caught… I guess they’ve gotten brave since Blizzards stance on cheaters is so lax.

I personally would like to help but I don’t use Twitch or watch streamers. They’re the worst thing to happen to gaming in the past 20 years. People all over, including this forum giving them praise and credit for things they didn’t even do.

Plus if I click on it, it gives them another view.

I can spare them the view, I don’t mind  especially when I get to report them! :smiling_imp:

It seems that you don’t understand anything about comments on other subjects.
Fabulous

Oh, and stop to watch streamers, problem solved.

Blizzard gives streamers a pass for hacking or gold buying etc. It’s truly sickening because it encourages the playerbase.

Problem is not solved.
1, cheaters need to get banned asap. It took over 30 days with several provided evidence to get one person banned.
2, they earn money by cheating and are encouraging others to do the same. A couple days ago, I saw one streamer talking about what he was using to autosalvage items ( 3 party program which is cheating ).

New slogan: be a snitch on twitch :trumpet:

Let Blizzard handle the cheaters.

Oh, I do intend to let Blizzard handle their accounts but Twitch also has a TOS.

Could care less.

But you needed to make a comment about it. Since you were here reading, you cared

Actually what he said: could care less, not couldn’t care less
(but gave your post a like anyway).

Wonder if this topic is a sneaky way to boost twitch D3 views?

I was just thinking the same thing. I always interpreted it this way (not meaning it’s the correct way):

…could  care less.

Means: They care some, but not a lot. Therefore, they could care less.

…couldn’t  care less.

Means: They do not care at all. Therefore, they could not care any less.

I think it was a typo, aka he couldn’t care less… But he gave it a shot

It’s “Couldn’t care less” meaning you couldn’t possibly care less than you already do

Weee! Thread derailed into a language lesson…

Well, might as well bring some funny into it:

And they say i’m bad!!! Lol.

Which honestly saddens me, the fact that we aren’t outraged that these people are showing off their cheats live on twitch.

When it happens in CS2, Valorant or even in LoL, their communities are instantly on top of them.
