Cheaters on the Leaderboards

So, should we cap seasons to a week then?

Might want to actually check the S29 LBs. Top (Americas) DH, barb, cru, monk, nec, and WD are all the same account. 1800ish hours played with 2736 hours in S29. So you calling this a legit 15.8 hours a day, for 114 straight days? The only spot this account didn’t get was Wiz which was 300 hours, so a realistic 3 hours a day. The above account did finish third and the 2 spot was taken by an 8 hour a day account.

So again, me playing 300+ hours to get those top gear rolls while a cheater turns on his bot for a 1000 hours or so to get slightly better gear is fair? Again, somewhat less broken is still broken.

I am still waiting for an explanation as someone cheating for 2000 hours to get 4000 more paragon is not fair, but cheating for 2000 hours to get slightly better gear is fair.

If I run a marathon, and someone takes a cab from the start line and drops back in when I hit the 100 meter left mark, it is not a fair race.

A low cap like 800 pushes players into one type of game mode, grinding Visions until their eyes bleed. Humans are not meant for this boring, tedious grind, which is why people use bots in the first place. Actual humans need some variety now and then. For a game that pretty much only has 3 activities, bounties/Visions, rifts, GR’s, making 2 out of 3 activities obsolete punishes players and encourages them not to play.

The itemization in this game is terrible. The gear hunt dies incredibly quickly. Paragon fills the endorphin gap for most legit players. It gives a semblance of power progression when you hit the spot where upgrades are far and few between.

Again, S29 had a low player participation and retention rate compared to seasons with new Themes around it. People dropped like flies because non-stop Visions are boring. This is why it is bad for legit players.
