I agree. Normally I’d rather talk about gameplay elements, not visuals, but in this case something looks very, very off. I’m not asking for a supermodel face, but she should at least look like a female. That face is clearly a male face.

Maybe the story behind this is, that this new D2R amazon had a very primitive and bad husband that forced her to cook and clean for him 24/7 for decades.
This caused the amazon to be really disgruntled and unhappy and so her health deteriorated.
I think all of this happened somewhere in Siberia but I could be wrong.
Also the Barbarian had an accident and had facial reconstructive surgery done, but it didnt turn out so well.
The Sorceress, after defeating Baal, got lazy and started cooking a lot of juicy meals, and then of course, she started gaining a lot of weight while neglecting combat-exercises.
The Assassin travelled to Asia, and in order to be stealthy and blend in, also had facial surgery done, but unlike the barbarian, her surgeon was a master of his craft.
The Paladin, despite having ethnic roots in Mauritania, got a bad sun burn while on vacation, resulting in even darker skin than previously known.
PS. Yes, please try to keep characters as close to their originals as possible and refrain from forcing “political correctness” in a video-game “just because”. There is no need to force characters with previously established ethnicity into different ethnicity because of “carebear” mentality.
Would you turn Morgan Freeman into a white man in a remaster of “Shawshank Redemption”? Hell no.
Would you turn the Dalai Lama in “seven Years in Tibet” into Danny DeVito? Jesus I hope not.
IMO there is no need to force characters in a video game to represent every single ethnicity “just because of the times” lol.
ARPG stands for Role Playing Game, and not “I pick the character that most closely represents my own ethnicity” lol

Amazon in Diablo 2 Resurrected needs to be more feminine, like others above are saying.
Assassin also need a redesign, she is more white looking in Diablo 2 Original.
Druid needs also a small redesign, need to be a little bit more thinner.

Nice propaganda, man, keep it going. Seems like you only come here to do that. And yes, the old amazon was not detailed enough, to see, whether she was 20 or 60. Still you guys complain about your beautiful amazon being gone, dispite the fact, that noone ever before recognized this “beauty” of D2 chars. That was never a thing and now, only because there is a male amazon, you guys start glorifying old chars for no good reason.
I am just being rational and objective here, instead of letting my arguments be governed by pure nostalgia.
Don’t know what you are talking about. She looks pretty hot for an old game, just like blocky Lara Croft was once considered hot. You can google image search for days, but you need to remember what it was actually like back then when something like the Amazon actually looked detailed and good.
There’s a big enough difference to where the devs came out and explained this was one of the original source files they found and will put some work into fixing it.
I return to my previous point earlier in another amazon thread… No one wants to look at ugly characters/people outside of entertainment reasons. IE, making the ugliest toon you can to troll people.
