Broken crown is currently equipped on follower. Problem is that initially a Ruby was inserted but now has a Topaz. Still only drops rubies. Not thrilled with this.
RTFM ! It doesn’t matter what gems your follower uses, only thing relevant is what YOUR toon wears in his/her hat.

Not a bug.

The emanated power is given to your hero, not to your follower. This means the colour of the extra gems is based on which gem is in your hero’s helm, not your follower’s helm.
