Bone Spirit Rework - Buff Bone, Skeletons skills - Physical Ice Poison Thorns Armor

No one needs a slow missile when you have Corpse Lance and Bone Spear. Let’s rework it :

Bone Spirit

Launch a Bone Spirit that will seek enemies. Deals 4000% weapon damage as Physical on impact. You gain a charge every 15 seconds and can store up to 3 charges. Recharge time is reduced by 1 second for each corpse you consume.
Cooldown: 15 seconds
Bone Spikes, Bone Armor, Command Skeletons, Skeleton Archer, Revive, Army of the Dead deal 50% increased damage for 10 seconds. Not stackable.

Blood Spirit

All skills damage turns into Physical and cost you 0.1% health.

Ice Spirit

All skills damage turns into Cold and freeze targets for 1 second.

Poison Spirit

All skills damage turns into Poison and fear targets for 1 second.

Ossuary Spirit

Increase your damage reduction by 100%, and Swirling Bone Tornado effects and hit rate by 200%.

Thorns Spirit

Increase your damage reduction by 100%, and your Thorns by 200%.

Ice Spirit :
You can slot Blood Lance but actually freeze ennemies at incredible rate.

Poison Spirit :
Poison Skeletons is now usable.

Blood Spirit :
You can equip Trag’oul’s Avatar and make damage with any skill in the game.

Ossuary Spirit :
You can equip Inarius + Mirinae and make damage without constantly dying.

That’s the spirit !

I would love it if Bone Spirit would be a Generator Skill and look like the Bone Spirit from Diablo 2:

Or maybe it could be a Secondary Skill that detonates on impact and also look like D2’s Bone Spirit, but with an explosion.

It already exists.
There is an explosion rune for Bone Spirit (Unfinished Business).
In addition you can get a similar effect with the One Shot Spear

My idea was to completely remove the missile part, since it is useless, and transform Bone Spirit in a buffing skill for weak skills.

Yes, but it still is not a Secondary Skill that you can spam.

And Shatter is one rune for Bone Spear, but if the detonation would be baseline for Bone Spirit it would be different.

Nothing against that skill idea of yours, I am just saying that they both could coexist.

They should remove the Bone Spirit of the Rathma set, it makes no sense casting LoTD and then spaming Bone spirit (way too similar to Corpse lance/Bone spear mechanic. Army of the Dead is a better skill visually and it fits perfectly the Rathma minions fantasy.

Sadly this isn’t gonna happen. Currently necromancer sits like this.

Inarius and Pestilence are all about that corpse lance.
Carnevil is all about that bone spear - which is weird, because Pestilence set should have been the spear build.
Rathma is all about that bone spirit.

It is written. By three they come. By three they go. Necromancer’s all use land of the dead because blizzard doesn’t know how to balance.

“Skeleton Archers” was the easy answer to “non-singularity mages” all along.
