Blue mist or fog in rifts.... what is it?

From time to time running regular rifts/greater rifts, I enter a map that is overlaid with blue mist, haze or fog everywhere.

Anyone experience the same thing?

LoL, so it’s part of the Season experience.

I wish I could turn it off, but it is what it is.

Orek’s Dreams are available non-season too, I believe.

Worse, it’s a permanent Grift feature. Lucky it’s very rare. I’ve only gotten it once in like 80 grifts.

At least you are now able to close rifts.

If you bothered to read the patch notes you would know that orek’s dream can now be played on rifts, so read patch notes for changes.

I got my answer on the first post after my OP.

I thought reading the patch notes was one of the season achievements.

I was waiting to read them when I made my push to guardian later on.

wait, what? Really??? I didn’t notice this in the PTR notes.

PTR Patch Notes

  • Players can speak to Orek to close an active Greater Rift. This option is only available when in a single player game.

Live Patch Notes

  • Players can speak to Orek to close an active Greater Rift. This option is only available when in a single player game.

I guess I tend to play the game more than read the patch notes lol.

Almost a shame the blue has no impact.

Oh, wait, maybe that’s a real thing.

Orek’s Dream has given me at least 1-2 GRs for solo pushes, especially for builds that require dense trash mobs.

It’s especially great for WWRend.

For Speeds, Orek’s Dream usually gives me a 70%+ clear on the 1st floor.

It’s amazing for WW/Rend. I haven’t got one in non-season yet, but my seasonal Barb shot up in levels off of just one at about GR 95.

I gotta say I like the GR changes. We’ve needed these for a while now, and it’s nice to see the devs implement positive changes to the overall game.
