The focus is where the BLIZZCON heading is. You are right it is not exactly in the middle. It’s slightly above the middle and beneath it is the barbarian.
Also, the news presenters from Diablofans noted that the armor of the Blizzcon art barbarian is different than the armor of the DI barbarian. Maybe this is related to the new D3 set that is coming for the barbarians?
Comparison:
OW and WoW could receive mobile spin offs in the form of single player games, who knows… We shall see.
Yeah, I guess the logo is really the focus. But Overwatch and WoW are in the foreground, in that order, in front of the other Blizz games. Which makes sense, those games get the most attention from Blizzard because they make the most money. Its clear there is a pecking order here.
I would say Barb is taking ‘3rd place’ which again makes sense as Blizz will be pushing Immortal at Blizzcon. The prominancy of these figures in the image is a good indicator of the amount of time they’ll devote to them at Blizzcon.
I think it was Allen Adham that said all their games were getting mobile spin offs. I doubt they’d be single player, seeing as how monetization works on mobile and relies on mp (and Blizzard doesnt really do single player at all), but who knows.
And yes, there is a definite difference between the two barbs. I’m not sure whether this is two DIFFERENT barbs (indicating two different games) or just two different artists interpretations or what.
This. However, the major difference is the armor, which may be a hint to either new D3 set or the D4 setting. Or the armor too could be just an interpretation of the artist.
If we close our eyes and dream for a second, if it’s a hint at D4 setting indeed, this means they are aiming at much more realistic graphics this time - the barbarian is wearing an armor much more closer to the clothes of the ancient people in our world who made these from animal skins.
You mean why I still ride the hypetrain? Because I think D4 is to be announced at Blizzcon 2019. If it is not then there is simply no D4 in the making or there was and the development was stopped.
I have shared my predictions for Blizzcon 2018 in this thread. I gave D4 25% chance right before Blizzcon last year. Before 2018 no one expected a D4 announcement.
Right now I think our chances to witness the announcement of D4 at Blizzcon 2019 are pretty high.
You must have missed 2016 when the hype train was running full speed because the “4 sided dice” guaranteed a D4 announcement, then we got a Necro dlc, which sadly is the only payable PC content the Diablo franchise has gotten in the last 3 Blizzcons.
Hypetrain comes for those who wait for it. Waiting for it however is not necessary. You may want to look for other trains at the station.
No, I haven’t missed it. I made predictions in 2016 as well: - Second D3 expansion: 99% - D2 HD release: 50% - New game in Diablo universe: 10% - D4: 1%
As you can see I didn’t bite the dice hype and gave D4 1% chance back then.
