A good suggestion for the new enmity goblin portals is to make the arrow pointing to them a different color (like blue) to differentiate between the portals and bounty objectives. Several times I follow an arrow only to come back to a blue goblin portal I decided to skip until I finished the act bounty I was working on when the portal popped up. This would help a lot, especially to find it later on in case we pass by it completing objectives etc. Great game, I am enjoying playing the seasons.
But, “blue goblins” don’t open Portals in Visions. They spawn Diabolic Chests. Even on Goblin Pack floors. Otherwise, it’s killing a different monster type, from the Goblin Pack, that would open a Portal.
And this is still March. Diablo IV is currently running a PTR and they’re having the March of the Goblins Event. (Not sure if that applies to the PTR).
Edit: Maybe you’re right. After rereading the OP, they are talking about running Bounties. The thing is, there IS a yellow arrow on the mini-Map pointing to a Visions Portal when it opens. When you’re close enough, you can actually see the Portal icon.
And, if that’s the case, this thread should be moved to the General Discussion Forum.

And it is a Blue Portal that is similar to those that goblins open to the Vault or NTCL…or to escape.
It’s actually not a bad idea, considering we have purple arrows marking the Keywardens.
However, blue arrows denote Party members, so maybe a red arrow, not that they are going to do it and this still doesn’t belong in D3 PTR Feedback.
I couldn’t find anywhere else that had a feedback suggestion besides the PTR so I left it here. And it makes sense to put it into PTR to get proper feedback before releasing it live anyway.
PTR Feedback is just that. Whenever we have an active PTR, that is where you want to post feedback about the PTR. We currently have no active PTR, so your feedback will fall on “deaf ears”.
In the past, Blizzard has asked us to provide general game feedback in the General Discussion Forum for PC players and in the Console Discussion Forum for console players.
So, you’ve done right to move this thread to the General Discussion Forum. Despite that D3 is in maintenance mode, it’s still the best place for feedback outside of social media (X, Facebook, etc.)
However, your thread is moot. That’s because what you’re suggesting has been in the game ever since the Visions of Enmity was first introduced.
There is no PTR, so there cannot be feedback. Everything in that Forum is feedback for past PTRs.
General Discussion is the proper place for game suggestions.
Don’t hold your breath waiting for implementation.
Correct. Because the original phrase @Blueflammie used in the OP was “blue goblin portals”. I read that as “[blue goblin] portals”. But, after reading @yessquire’s post #3 I realized @Blueflammie meant “goblin [blue portals]”. They have since edited their OP to read “enmity goblin portals”, which is clearer. I refer to them as just Visions Portals.
The OP itself is asking for arrows pointing to those (Visions) Portals. But, we not only have those already; you can actually see the Portal icon on the Area Map. (As seen in the images I embedded).
Again you are correct and I agree, respectively. It’s especially confusing when you’re on a huge Map with different named sections. Like Act II’s Stinging Winds, Black Canyon and Alcarnus. I’m sure players have been in these areas and had half-a-dozen yellow arrows showing on the mini-Map along with a purple arrow (Keywarden). Often enough, it’s easy to just open the Area Map to see the closest pulsating yellow circle showing the location of the Bounty you’re currently working on. But, it is still confusing. And, sometimes annoying.
If Blizzard was inclined to add a QoL feature for this, I would suggest:
Just discovered if you hover over the arrows with your mouse, they’re labeled what they’re to.
A different color would be nice, but with this new information, if you’re confused about what the arrow is leading you to, then take a second to hover over the arrow and it will tell you.
It does not work for Visions Portals. However, if you mouse-over a yellow Arrow and a label does not pop up, it’s a good indication that it is a Visions Portal.
On the Area Map you can get the same result by mousing-over the pulsating Bounty circle. And, a Visions Portal icon is shown instead of an Arrow or circle.
I agree, I don’t like the arrow pointing to the portals that spawns. I can see the portal on the map of the zone when I click M for map. I don’t need to be pointed to it, it’s location is clear.
But bounty objectives are often NOT clear, have to run around the whole zone looking for the last 1 or 2 objects to interact with, because the arrow is just pointing a portal who’s location is plain when I open the map.
Is it strange that I have never once had an issue with this?
But then I know the bounty locations for the most part like the back of my hand, I don’t even need the arrow most of the time.
It is true though you can hover the mouse on the arrow and decipher them that way. Visions/Fissures haven’t been the only cases where this can be confusing.
