With higher resolution comes the ability to add clarity to smaller items allowing for things like larger bags and enhanced UIs… hence, if you remaster the visual quality, you have the ability to remaster aspects to take advantage of the increased resolution.

And we all know Wikipedia is not a valid source for anything.

The only person that thinks the meaning of words only change to personal preference is you.

I doubt you’re done and reposting the same Wikipedia definition isn’t “so much evidence”, its the same evidence over and over.

A good day to you too.

Lumpus aren’t you on the pro-changes side? Pretty sure Playaah is just upset about the clear choice VV is making with more changes and wants to argue semantics.

Unless you’re both on pro-change side and arguing semantics for literally no reason? lol.

A rather worrisome question was posed in the survey, for people who don’t want the game launch to be delayed for tiny non-damaging bugs…

Something about asking if we would participate in another Open Beta if it were to happen before launch.

Why would they need players opinions on if they would participate in an open beta or not? If the game needs more testing… they should do more testing. It’s either good to go or its not. So thats both bizarre and worrying.

Precisely… and I am hoping that if another beta does happen that it doesn’t delay launch… |:

blizzard have sent MANY surveys out in all the years. i think i have seen close to zero big changes from the surveys i have been part of. so dont get you hope up kids.

I mean if 2000 purist refund I bet we won’t see any dents or slow down in the game !!! 5000ish out of 100,000s won’t be missed!!! But will be welcomed back with open arms

I’m on the side of pro changes that can be toggled on/off without creating an imbalance. I don’t care how others want to play so long it doesn’t force me to play that was as well to keep up.

Other than that, I’m ok with QOL/non gameplay changes. A larger bag/charm slots and stacking runes/potions is cool but I don’t really care if they don’t add them in. I’m just open to the idea.

Playaah only wants the changes he deems acceptable and is trying to use semantics to justify his position.

Can I get a survey, please? Checked my primary, promotional, and spam boxes. No survey :sob:

This is fantastic. They are essentially asking if the community wants continued development. I would say that most do.

The only survey I got was from Onlyfans

Hope they make a lot of these changes

Which is within the term of remastering.

No.

Again, you are using the remaster terminology wrong. The correct term would be change and/or edit.

  • Ever seen a remasterered movie, changing anything but the resolution or sound quality?
  • Ever heard of a remastered song, changing the beat, melody, instrument or arrangement?
  • Ever seen an remastered image, changing anything but the picture resolution/quality?

I doubt it.

Yet i provided sources from several sites.

Wrong, i stand by the definition. Even with the definition you posted, remaster doesn’t fit with your statements lol.

The game already can’t be classified as a pure remaster because of changes to features ie. shared stash, gold pickup, gamble refresh etc.

Doesn’t have anything to do with anything in our discussion. Our discussion is about the term Remaster, whether you are for or against changes has nothing to do with the actual meaning of the terminology.

Ya but why are you arguing over semantics of those terms? What was the original point of what is or isn’t considered a remaster?

Ahah can’t believe you actually posted something like that. I mean well done exposing the purists malhonesty using the word remaster as a #nochange argument

Long story, started in some other thread. He said something to someone in that thread about remastering that was wrong, so i decided to provide factual proof of the meaning of the word. Still hasn’t sunk in.

Facts aren’t opinions. Facts are facts. End of story. Goes for both sides.
