Yeah, it’s basically the same survey you’d fill in after leaving a game or clicking “return to the main menu” instead of going to act 3.
I had mine in the Publicity tab in my mailbox but I tought it was just a notification for the release.

Yeh I can imagine lol.
No mate its much more in depth they want to know how you feel about continued support and changes to the game going forward new items tons of stuff.
You missed it. It was at the start. No sharing links, screenshots, etc. We can talk about it existing but not the details really. I think it also adapts questions based on your answers.
Ah erm
oops

holy crap! Stackable gems/runes, Skill bar for KBM, Charm inventory, in-game cube recipes!? Hot damn these are super promising. Who would’ve thought? a video game company actually listening to their fanbase and applying the exact changes most players want? waaaaat
i know not all of these will make it in. But hell, even just 1-2 off this list would be amazing.
Looks like they are remastering some aspects of the inventory and UI.
I didn’t have a problem with any of them. None seemed like they would effect gameplay.
Is there anything I need to do to get this survey?
It’s not in my mailbox (not using GMail tabs), not in spams either. Is there a requirement?
Maybe later, maybe no
only them know it.
for us it’s pretty much random.
eitherway it’s also a fact that’s it is send in wave , so you might get it eventually.
I hope to god they don’t start messing around with crap for ‘ladder seasons’. I’d like some QoL and balance changes (for underpowered skills only), but I hope they don’t turn this into another crappy GaaS product.
Seems like you still are using the terminology wrong.
Looks like they are remaking some aspects of the inventory and UI.
Would be the correct phrase in this context.
I haven’t once received a Blizz survey. I have to wonder who are they surveying? People who pre-ordered? People who have every played the game?
personally i received probably about all of them.
i did play every games of the diablo franchise but that shouldn’t be the reasons , i mean one of the question is actually what game you played in the franchise and for how long xD
(also they have no way to know i still have and played diablo 1 considering it was with another e-mail anyway, i haven’t re-used the cd key of diablo 1 from my box to put it on this account)
i think it’s mostly random depending on your computer’s specs etc…
and maybe your playtime or time online in forums.
(be it high or low )
no real need to search the reasons anyway , it’s probably simply random , by waves.
No, because I pre-ordered the very first day the game was announced and I did not get this survey from Blizzard. Maybe it’s sent by waves and I’ll get it later. I’ll see.
How so? According to you, remastering can apply to all sorts of things. They are simply remastering the inventory and UI the same way they did the graphics and sound.
Like much of the game, the inventory and UI looks the same but is updated to fit todays standards.
You seem to think remastered only applies to what you want changed.
Remaster refers to changing the quality of the sound or of the image, or both, of previously created recordings, either audiophonic, cinematic, or videographic.

According to me, or according to all the sources i provided you in the last thread?
Video games
Modern computer monitors and high-definition televisions tend to have higher display resolutions and different aspect ratios than the monitors/televisions available when the video game was released. Because of this, classic games that are remastered typically have their graphics re-rendered at higher resolutions. An example of a game that has had its original graphics re-rendered at higher resolutions is Hitman HD Trilogy , which contains two games with high resolution graphics: Hitman 2: Silent Assassin and Hitman: Contracts . Both were originally released on PC, PlayStation 2, and Xbox. The original resolution was 480p on Xbox, while the remastered resolution is displayed at 720p on Xbox 360. There is some debate regarding whether graphics of an older game at higher resolutions make a video game look better or worse than the original artwork, with comparisons made to colorizing black-and-white-movies.
Words doesn’t change meaning based on personal preference, which you seem to believe.
I’m done now, i have provided so much evidence on this matter, that if you still fail to recognize the correct definition of remaster based on your own personal bias, you are only making a fool of yourself.
Have a good day.
i hate blizzard not for their games, but their marketing strategies.
Blizzard is probably the reason why I am still gaming at the age of 35, so they probably did a few things right.
this is a response to the other comments and not the original post btw.
I also feel like the wrong ppl will get this survey.
They don’t care what purist have to say maybe ?
Im extremely curious as to what percentage of people get the surveys and if they are only sent to people who pre-ordered or bought a previous diablo game. I didn’t get any of the surveys and i’ve bought all the diablo games/expansions.
I’m glad they have continually moved in the right direction with changes, but its still annoying barley anyone seems to actually be getting these. In the pre-order forum you’d expect every other person to say they got it.
They do care. They just don’t care about irrational whining from purists claiming small changes that either don’t affect them or only improve the game will also somehow “destroy” it.
Then VV just got rid of an annoying vocal minority that only strive to impede the game’s shining
