I’ll approve, only if the people who stand at the entrance and not contribute to the game, cannot leech xp still.

This would be such an easy change to implement and it would satisfy a lot of players’ wishes. Can we get a response from a mod please?

This is a great QoL change as well. It will open up for more public multiplayer games since people won’t be afraid of other players killing the king to ruin their summoning portals. This QoL change tied with a personal loot toggle for these public games would be amazing too and will bring more longevity to D2R.

Yeah, that’s the idea. We just want the penalty removed so that we can open the portal even after killing the king.

cows is mostly about xp. the loot was always kinda so so imo (which is the way it should be)
Hardcore mode = Kill king/Blacklist
Normal mode =No Blacklisting
Cow level is the true end game. Moo Moo Moo, moo moo.
Cow king boots are very viable for lld. One of the best boots out there, actually.
All the cow king pieces can drop off any cow, not just the king. It’s not contradictory at all.
Honestly I don’t really even mind this. Them being there to leech exp does not really make the cows that much harder to kill, having more players in the room increases loot drops, and them not actively participating in the killing leaves more loot for the players who are.
IIRC the chest piece only drops off the king right?
Incorrect, they can all drop from any cow. I finished my set item grail in the cow level, without ever killing king.

Yeah don’t worry, I’ve heard the same thing. There are a lot of wive’s tales in this game, but that’s part of the charm, and why the cow king wasn’t added in the first place 
They made Whimsyshire farmable in D3 and because they did that, they had to nerf it into the ground because it became the meta.
It’s the meta in D2 already, it was nerfed in the past because of that.
Having the cow king lock you out of making the rooms does not stop people farming cows, it just makes it a little bit more annoying to do it.
