Weird, one run I swapped Unrelenting Phalanx for Frydehr and thought I saw a difference in damage from 60% less Phalanx %. I guess I was mistaken. I rushed into other quick changes.

When I get back to my PC, I’m going to strip the char and start recording, slowly adding each modifier back.

Ironically, I did notice that Unruned Phalanx did the same damage hits as Bowmen. Personally, I don’t want to play Unruned or Shield Charge.

I know that Blizzard focused on fixing bugs before July 25th, and I hope to release the PTR Phase 3 next Tuesday to modify Akkhan Phalanx directly according to the proposal of Dmkt. I 100% agree with him.

This performance is very bad:

  • Treat Bowmen/Bodyguards runes as pets so that Tasker & Theo, Enforcer and Phalanx Skill Damage % affix help the build.
  • Ensure Condemn skill % damage affix works too.
  • Add some damage and defense to Eternal Union.

While i am more leaning towards the manual casting phalanx myself i would rather have it that all phalanx/condemn buffs apply to both version (with pets gaining t&t and enforcer comapred to manual).

Another change idea: Akkhan 6P bounus, Akkhan Avatars get 20000% damage bounus instead of the current 2000% all damage bounus.Although A6I2 was gived up,but Akkhan reborn indeed.

Answer: Buggy programming.

Pet mechanics needs to come back. At least, partial pet like spirit barrage - phantasm.

Not a big fan of this. Not really want to lose COE or RoRG, especially COE in pushes.

The ring setup(s) will become:

  1. CoE + Eternal Union + RoRG (2.1x w/ 8 Bowmen)
  2. F&R + RoRG (2.25x)

I guess I want augilds + captains now that tasker is gone, but not really satisfied. I still want that condemn bracer we discussed before, not sure if Blizzard is keen for the idea

I have the same feeling. Less damage and less defense.

From ptr patch notes:

  • Fixed a bug that caused the damage bonus of Akkhan’s 6-piece to sometimes not work with Phalanx Avatars.

Could it be that they screwed up this fix? Maybe the 6-piece bonus doesnt work now all the time with Phalanx Avatars?

No.At present, the Akkhan Phalanx Avatar cast Condemn damage depends on the condemn damage of your own body, and is not related to pet damage and Phalanx damage.

Lol. I now do more damage with my crippled A6I2-build than with Akkhan Phalanx build.

The Leoric’s Crown + Gogok are needed to constantly cast Bowmen without downtime. You need like 67% CDR, which helps keep the law up 100% too. I was at 71% CDR with this setup.

Strongarms is a valid cube choice only if you roll AS on your weapon, but i’m sitting at 1.98 sheet AS. The AS is bouncing around even though Laws of Valor active full time. The Leoric’s setup is most secure.

The problem is these things don’t work anymore: Phalanx Skill %, Warhelm of Kassar , Enforcer, Tasker & Theo.

Did 135 in 10:00 minutes. I only changed one skill in my A6I2 build.

Akkhan is up all the time.

And it still feels weaker. More damage is coming in and I dont know why.

Akkhan multiplier in PTR seems to be nerfed. 1500% in PTR compared to 2000% live from my game. That might be the issue of lack of damage.

Tasker still works in my limited testing. Just visually noted how quickly they restored AC hitting a single target and they restored it significantly faster with TnT. I didn’t use a stopwatch or anything or check my frames, so I could be wrong, but it looked pretty clear to me.

I should add the only variable was TnT in cube versus a null item, everything else was the same.

I’ll attempt a push with taskers next, it should be noticeably better if it actually works, thanks for the tip.

You don’t really need Tasker&Theo when using Pain Enhancer snapshot.Just open the GR ,you can get 5.0 aps in Cow Level or elsewhere outside ,cast Bowen,all that’s left is to make sure they don’t die .
