Add CDR on Followers

I’m not sure whether the devs intended this to be, but the fact that CDR doesn’t work on followers doesn’t make a lot of sense. With the new follower overhaul, I feel like CDR should be added to the follower stat sheet, in the process allowing CDR to actually work on them. This way, the facets of followers that are the most important - the abilities, can actually help players even more.

There are already multiple thread out there. I linked them below. But i still hope it will get implemented at some point in the future. One thing is, that CDR will be the primary follower stat if they implement it.

Followers aren't getting full benefit of CDR on gear

On Scoundrel: 2p Crimson (20%) 97% Leoric’s Crown with max diamond (24%) 3x 8% CRD rolls of gear (24%) 2x 6% CDR rolls on gear (12%) The above would amount to 80% CDR. It would shave of 24 seconds from Night’s Veil. So, he should be casting it say every 7 seconds, but he instead recasts about every 28 seconds. Is this a bug? Update: I found a primal Leoric’s Crown so that would be 25% CDR. So even if I just considered the primal Leoric’s and 2p Crimson: 30 sec cooldown - 25% = 22.5 second…

CDR not working on Followers

I was trying out the Templar in the PTR server and geared it up with a plethora of CDR gear, multiplying up to about 60% CDR. Yet, when I tried out the cheat death, the cooldown lasted 2 minutes, when it should have only lasted 45 seconds or so. The same applied to other skills on the Templar as well. The CDR on the Templar’s gear seems not to be applying to its skills.

Cdr on followers

hello, i have a question about followers. do they benefit from cdr on their items? i’ve read AshTag’s guide and other follower related guides, and everybody said, they do get the reduction. yesterday i tested this with a fully naked follower (no as, no cdr), and she (enchantress) was as fast and casted skills as fast as with the cdr and as items. can somebody comfirm this, or link a proof about this? or tell me, what i missed. thanks, shirokabocha

cdr worked on followers before the new changes.

cdr and attack speed was pretty much all I ever rolled on their gear.

Interestingly, the only skill that CDR definitely works on is the Templar Heal. Pretty weird as to why it doesn’t apply to other skills on the Templar and other followers.
