We are out of words. Seriously. We have no idea about the purposes or the aim of the 2.6.7. First rend is nerfed as it was considered OP, which was not. In that meanwhile, there were already builds clearing above 140s (well above). Then you buffed crusaders.
So why barb was nerfed?
Why are you giving more credibility to streamer feedbacks, we all know almost all streamers kept calling rend OP (and some trolls called it). What kind of standard is that? Their non neutral opinions seem to unsee the high clears of necros and wizards. Now we have crusaders in that mix.
Why not read the sound feedback from your community? They know the game more than your average streamers. Maybe even more than the development team themselves.
What kind of a balance patch is this lol? It became a funny ordeal for us to see this. lolling away
I tried to put it politely in my thread, but what I really wanted to say was: âDear God, just read what the class experts are saying and do that frigginâ thing. Put this % here, put that % there. Done.â
So sick of the community coming up with A+ solutions to problems, breaking down the math, etc, and very little gets implemented. Yes, they used our Fjord and Remorseless suggestions and guess what?
THOSE WORK PERFECTLY. THOSE MADE WEAK BUILDS MORE POWERFUL!
Could they use bigger multipliers? YES!

Just saw that the crusader soloâd a GR 150âŚand good for them I hope they have their fun and it lasts. I heard the build is actually fun to play which must be a bonus!
Why Barb was nerfed? No idea maybe someone looked at the data upsidedown and saw a 6 as a 9 /Shrug!, however maybe wait for Nevalistâs next post as to whether changes will be âhot-fixedâ before Season starts.
As for the feedback, you and others have done a ton of work and effort - and seemingly had such little back from it! Maybe itâs time to take a break and look for fun elsewhere or maybe a compromise on Lamentation will be made?
Like I said in the other thread, all of this was âforseenâ by the various people in the barb megathread. Cru was mathed to be 145+ and Barb was mathed to be 133, or lower. Both of those were spot on. But, they decided to ignore the crusader feedback completely, and listen to two know-it-all streamers regarding Barbs, and they were dead wrong on everything. Why bother even putting PTR up? You ignore the feedback you got, that thread didnt get 2k responses for nothing.
Barbarians, you guys have my condolence. Had lamentation retained itâs 200% damage boost, Iâm sure that wouldâve been a nice holiday gift for barbs, but nowâŚ

Blizz once again is doing a TERRIBLE job at being in touch with the community/player base. They are so disconnected itâs not even funnyâŚitâs actually sickening at this point. They clearly do not even play the game nor have they most likely.
And now the people who were silent about the barb nerf can feel the consequences of their silence. Everyone got nerfed in a sense when blizzard tuned down builds that were performing well, nerfed barbs when they were reaching balance, put a trash set for monks with clear design and gameplay issues and ignored the remaining classes completely.
Crusader got a new, fun and overpowered build that can break records. They did a 150 with almost all items recently dropped, since the set is new. I wonder how many are primals. Or even ancient? What about upgrades? Guess I will check later.
And hey, I am happy for crusaders. I hope Blizzard doesnât nerf them. They should man up and take responsability for their mistake. Everyone should get buffs and the devs should never increase numbers again without extensive testing.
And if it is so hard to make a new build to add changes to PTR, just prepare multiple versions of the same item with potential balance choices.
I think both nerfes and buffs are valid tools of bringing balance to the game. I know that people have been burnt by the nerfs before and that nerfs cant really bring back time and eradicate some of the clears.
The problem with blizz is that they are extemely poor with using what they have at their disposal, which means that the pendulum swings wide in both directions. In my opinion its simple, plain incompetence on their part. If you consider my words harsh, then consider this - its way past good manners and courtesy. I can feel the rage behind the posts of players, who are afraid that if they express their feelings adequatlely, their posts will be withdrawn/deleted and they will get suspended.
They are nerfing AoV crusaders as I and many others predicted. I do not know why some would think otherwise. They nerfed both wizards and necromancers in patch 2.6.7. I do not know why some might conclude that a build that was much stronger than either would not be nerfed.
