A Quick Word from Blizzard

They’ll probably show a few of the new sets… maybe some D4 teaser?
I don’t really care anymore, seasons are still fun for three days, and I’ll probably play D4 once it comes out since I play most Hack&Slay ARPGs. I’m not hyped though, as I was when D2 trailers and gameplay could be found on CD in games magazines  Or when D3 was announced… I’ll just wait and see, as long as there are no MTX or season passes and all that crap, it’ll probably be fun for a while…

Here is the blog post. https ://us.diablo3.com/en/blog/23093785/diablo-iii-and-ongoing-support-8-13-20 19

Sooo… season done after ~27 hours.

And still nothing blue in here. And I still won’t let this thread get buried until there is.

Still busy with blogs Neverlisten? Quick advice, games made from TRUE devs 15 years ago (classic) are better than your new “games” (D3, Azeroth, HS) . You know why? because in those years Blizzard listened their fans and they didnt promise quick words (still waiting), they were compromised with their games and not doing them cashgrab. Go and tell the notice in the “DOJO”

I’m also curious when they’ll finally communicate about any of the concerns brought up last year till now other than to say … “Oh look a new season”

Maybe someday…

IT will be fun when she comes after Blizzcon

Can we have this topic pinned, or has it been determined there’s no need to even pretend to be listening anymore?

It would also go a long way to have a Blizzard response of any kind in here. The quality of feedback would improve dramatically if people felt it was even worth saying anything. As it stands, we have no way of knowing this topic is even still being visited.

Just an idea. People tend to give better feedback when they know they aren’t just talking to thin air.

The fact that there was only 2-3 blue posts in a 5500 post thread on the old forums should have been sufficient indication that they were never listening.

Exactly, thus the “pretending.” At this point they’re not even bothering with the facade.

Yeah, and why should they? The public doesn’t care anymore, the whole thing is long forgotten and everybody is on the “zOMG, WoW Classic!!!” Train.
Well, everyone but a tiny gallic village

I wonder if this topic will be closed someday (funnily enough, this could be the first and last bluepost in here xD), or if there’ll indeed be an answer someday…

l0l, still no update, there’s a surprise. The best and most popular game they currently have out atm, was the last successful game they made before they went to sh1t. They had to rerelease a 15 year old game that they ignored the masses for years and years and werent happy fan’s made private servers and shut them down.

Kept telling fan’s ‘you think you want vanilla, but you don’t’ then after years and seeing the xx,xxx-xxx,xxx amount of players on private servers they were losing, suddenly had a ‘genius’ plan to ‘give the fan’s what they want’

The IQ of whoever makes these executive decisions, I can’t even imagine how painful it must be to deal with someone so thick

the fact people prefer a 15 year old vanilla game, over the several expansions since then and launch was 3x more popular for classic then BfA, that speaks massive volumes to me.

As a business, it should speak massive volumes to them too. But as per my previous post, i wouldn’t be surprised if monkey at the top is scratching his head and wondering why a 15 year old ‘sh1t’ version of their game is 3x more popular than their ‘amazing’ latest version

I mean if D2 had been mia for a while (assuming it was online only, etc.) and they put it back up as “Diablo Classic” or whatever, I bet it would get flooded for nostalgia too. Or people who missed it the first time.

WoW vanila was never missing, it was on pirated servers blizz kept shutting down. The demand was always massively there for it and they just stuck their heads in the sand and kept telling everyone that actually, they didnt want vanilla and actiblizz knows best

I mean, that’s not why they kept shutting down the WoW Vanilla Private Servers. They had to protect their IP or else they risk not being able to enforce copyright over it later.

So technically WoW Vanilla (Classic) was gone for a while. Pirated / Private servers don’t really count imo. But either way, it’s officially back and accessible for everyone again.

gotta love this improved communication, no blue posts for nearly two weeks now. and still after 10 months no reply to the thread THEY STARTED!

come on nev you’re the official community manager now after the promotion how about you actually respond to the thread YOU STARTED (HINT HINT)

I don’t know about Blizzard, but my fires are ‘burning hot’ and I want to festoon Tristram with the guts of the members of senseless hype trains that make absolutely no f**king sense.

Does that count?
