A Quick Word from Blizzard

I doubt you will ever see a blue post in this thread as everyone would just attack him or her blaming him or her for everything that is wrong with the game and saying that devs don’t give a daamn about their players or something like that…

maybe they should have responded in the thread they started on the old forums before some 8-9 months later the forums moved, but seems thats to hard to even manage.

There wasn’t a “problem” to begin with, people were simply pissed because of many reasons (which I can count at least 5 I guess) and you’d be fooling yourself if you ever think Blizzard is willing to move away from far east market after fan backlash. You can not offer a solution to angered fanbase unless something else is ready to ease or distract the fanbase.

why not make this thread a sticky?
-it will stay or return forever, like a few other threads

Anybody got a read on the forge temperatures?

Seems stone-cold to me.
Or if it’s heating up it’s so subtle about it, that nobody noticed.

Having comics prepped as a project don’t just cancel themselves after all.

I mean, they didn’t exactly lie. They had projects on the go. Comic books, a mobile game, a novel, a book of artwork I think it was as well? Maybe a Diablo animated series if what I read is accurate?

But they were Diablo projects nonetheless. Just not the ones we were hoping they would be.

This Blizzcon feels like it’ll be like last Blizzcon: I have no expectations but will most likely still be disappointed.

Jason Schreier, whose articles have exposed the insidious inner workings of major game companies in recent times, says Blizzard has several major announcement ready to go for BlizzCon:

Given what happened last year and the recent controversy with Hearthstone, it feels really hard to get excited about these announcements, whatever they will be.

They could throw in Diablo 4, Diablo 2 Remastered, Overwatch 2 and a new WoW expansion for all I care but it’s hard to shake off the repeated screw ups of their own making.

Blizzard will release information on what’s coming when they are good and ready to…why is this news or upsetting to anyone? It’s nothing new at all. That’s how the company works, they are very good at keeping things behind closed doors until they are ready to reveal it.

I don’t believe they owe us anything, neither should any of you. Just play their games and be grateful when an announcement is made, that they decided to keep the ball rolling in whichever direction they choose.

I can say with 100% certainty, that the shareholders are furious, and there is absolutely no wiggle room for any error or disappointment in this years BlizzCon. Everyone should see this already, considering Blizzard has opted out of every single major gaming convention this year, on purpose.

I don’t understand how or why you, or anyone is disappointed in Immortal? D.I. has nothing to do with the development team that works on PC or console projects, it has its own team. Same goes for the D3 switching to classic games.

I look at Diablo Immortal as a godsend to the Diablo franchise, and in due time, you will as well. Once you see the kickbacks that come to a company that incorporates such a large game into the mobile market, you’ll start to see more future Diablo content. Then you’ll too realize just how great of an idea D.I. is, and why they were so excited to share the news with the world.

no what we will see as a direct result of immortal being a huge success would be an even bigger push for blizzard to produce more phone games.

At the end of the day it’s going to happen anyways. It’s the way the gaming industry has changed. The demographic is too large to ignore.

Will the CEO be speaking at this year’s Blizzcon? I mean the real CEO, Xi Jinping, of course.
