Why not, if a good 2H weapon would exist it would be viable, if anything Rend damage is based on Weapon Damage and 2-handers have more base.
Since WW isn’t the main damage anymore, attack is less important, above 2 aps would be almost useless.
However there are no good enough 2-H weapon atm, but should they come, 2-H WW/Rend would be viable.

The problem with 2h WWRend is not damage, is the smoothness that dual wield provides with Zodiac. 2h has trouble with CDR since Zodiac procs slowly with it so Perma Wrath / IP becomes an issue, making this variant very squishy

i like Cap Crimson style, but I have a much better similar idea for this old great sword :grinning:

The Grandfather

Your damage dealt is increased by your percentage of life, and your armor increases by 10% for each indestructible item.

for example: if my Crusader holds in his right hand this sword with 18% Life and hes Shoulders have 15% Life then his damage will be increased by 33%

now about indestructible

if your hero have three items with Ignores Durability Loss in Secondary stats then we’ll get 30% more Armor

it’s really really hard and cool try to find items with needed Primary and Secondary stats, but if we find them we will become very powerful

and don’t forget we have a little cheat…

Spaulders of Zakara
Your items become indestructible.

this means we can equip this shoulders or put them in a cube to increase the armor for all thirteen items by 130%

Yeah, but if the 2-H would be worth it, you could always allocate damage to toughness somewhere else, or maybe a 2-H weapon that actually increases the toughness.
As I said there are no good options now imo, but should they create new 2-H weapons that are worth the change why not play 2-H WW/Rend.
Maybe a weapon will be created that helps cooldowns, not like Messerschmidt because I don’t think the kill speed will be high enough on the higher torments (although I must say I personally haven’t tried pushing at all with the new WW/Rend since I main monk this season).
I simply don’t see logic in the you would NEVER do that.

Each time you hit an enemy reduce the cooldown of Wrath of the Berserker by 1.
In addition when you are in Wrath of the Berserker increase Critical Hit Chance by 20%, Attack Speed by 35%, Dodge Chance by 30% and Movement Speed by 40%

Anyway, here is my contribution:
Valthek Rebuke: Reduce the cost of Twister by X arcane power. Damage of Twister is increased by Y%

Winter Flurry: Blizzard gains Snowbound rune effect. Also, Blizzard inflicts maximum damage every second. Blizzard’s damage is increased by X%

Buriza do Kyanon: Your projectiles pierce 3/4 times more. Hungering arrow now splits in two arrows when pirecing an enemy, and deals X% more damage.

The Ninth Cirri Satchel: Hungering Arrow has 25/30% additionnal chance to pierce. Also increases the damage of Hungering Arrow by X%.

Blackfeather: Increase the damage of your rockets by X%

Secondary Affix: Generators deal 250% increased Critical Hit Damage.
Add to Legendary Power:
Frenzy gains the effect of all runes. Frenzy stacks last for 10 seconds.

What if we modifiy the way Zodiac works.
Reduce the cooldowns by 2 seconds if you’re wearing 2H weapon.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I think the only top push build that uses 2H weapon and Zodiac is Roland Sweep build, I see no harm if they can reset AC twice faster than now. Resseting AC wasn’t an issue in roland build after all.

Dunno if that would solve all our issues with two handed weapons, since there are many:

  • poor proc rate
  • less healing
  • less attack speed, generally less stricken stacks
  • damage increase at the cost of stats, like CDR

So, you see, there’s a lot to fix on 2handers before adding certain legendary affixed on gear.

Overall good ideas, but Buriza itself should be a basic “pierce item” for everything, not for only one skill. Hungering Arrow itself allready has a split mechanic.

Blackfeather as a rocket item could be fun.

I like these two ideas. I would use this with glacier spike! And I would love a reason to actually use mirrors image. I would change Magic missile to fires 3 or 4 extra missiles and they all should have a piercing affect. :grinning:

They should just double the stats on 2h. I feel like the damage is fine, but what I’m referring to is the %max dmg, ias, area dmg, everything but CDR or RCR because it would break crusaders even more sInce they can wield a shield with it.

I like the Mempo Of Twilight power, but I think it should be on Andy’s instead for a couple reasons.

  • Andy’s has increased fire dmg taken

This makes the build risk vs reward

  • Andy’s has %Elemental dmg

This makes it easier to get decent stats on you’re amulet. Because of DR, you wouldn’t take Ele dmg on 3 pieces.

There’s a new barb set coming down the pipeline soon, I hope it’s a Frenzy or Bash (maybe even Cleave) set. I would love to see a general (non-class specific) Primary Skill set. I think that would be fun.

Could you please add some legendaries for DH’s Strafe skill?

I noticed there are only few items and they are so so.

There could be a simple xbow, or bow or 1hbow that for example:

Strafe consumes 30-50% less resource and deal xxx% increased damage.

Strafe fires twice (or maybe has 2x aspd) - this could be interesting with the rune that shoots rockets + ballistics passive.

While using strafe you move 20-30%faster and also take 30% less damage.

Well there are a lot of things that could be added…

I don’t think people actually bother to use signature attacks nowadays because it deals weak damage compare to primary skills, although having mirror images increasing your damage is actually work if it is apply to every skill instead of magic missile.

I will be surprised if the upcoming barb set doesn’t emphasis on generator skills - overpower gameplay.

I think they should buff 2H weapons to Torment 16 revelant powerlevel, and give the real power behind a class specific items - in this case, a Mighty belt. See my previous post about Ageless Might.

Sure! Strafe is also one of my favourite DH skill. I’ve post a Strafe supporting legendaries on Update 1. I’ll edit it into my first post when I’m home.

I like a lot of these ideas, it would be really nice to get more legendary synergy for LOD builds, and less reliance on set pieces…

I would like more crafted items more relevant as well, especially hellfire…

Skorn always felt like a lifesteal weapon to me…

Give it a 5th stat of massive + life on hit

Legendary power - everytime you crit increase cool down reduction by 4% and resource cost reduction by 4% stacking up to 5 times (bit of captains set synergy)
