Nevermind that “hack” is added onto the end of Maphack. Can’t imagine the users were being honest with themselves when they imagined it was going to end any other way.

So, if i was a anticheat sw dev with the intend of gathering personal data from players…all i would have to do is change the directive “scan only game files” to “scan everything” ?
That functionality would have to be written into the code from the outset and if they get caught you’ll be parking your yacht next to Bobby’s.

If you have shorter names of color changes then you can more easily see things and pick them up than a player using the default interface. That means you have an advantage.
Now, if you are solo then it does not matter. I also don’t think they care about single player solo PC offline.

You can pick up loot before others notice it, it lower your reaction time. Reality of game is that in games with more players is often loot not visible on ground well.
I am not involved in security so can’t really say. I know there are laws in place to limit what can be accessed, esp in the EU.

Thats just the dumbest reason I ever heard in my life. Changing a color gives an advantage give me a break. I expected better from an MVP.
Sorry. I just tell you the truth. You would not be changing the interface view with a mod if it was not an advantage and easier.
If you want to run a mod to make it harder …well that would be an interesting discussion.

Yes I want to play a game where the game makes loot differnt colors. It makes it harder. I am used to reading text in black into on white paper so seeing something in red is a foriegn and abstract concept to my eyes.
Make the game harder!!! Add loot filters!
