Why not just sell HRs in the in-game client?

Since you won’t take any action against RMT sellers or buyers even in the trivial form of banning spam bots, why not just drop the pretense and create an “RMT Vendor” where the player can use their associated card to purchase items. Eliminate the “middle man” cough and just put it right into the game. Drop the pretense. Dorks running around with several HRs in their gear on day one is so boring.

yah this ladder just exposed how stupidly bad d2jsp has infected the game. every streamer and every game has people in full BiS runewords on day 2 as if that were even possible at all without buying duped runes.

D2jsp ruined ladder on day 2, blizzard doesnt care, might as well just feed their own greed and open RMT shop at this point.

I know this topic might be partially made in frustration or completely sarcastic, but there is history of this happening in a lot of blizzard games already.

In WoW they introduced the token which allows you to buy in game items, BoEs etc with real money.

We all know how the AH at the start of D3 was setup as well.

If it ends up being something that is lucrative enough for them to do ( and would bring in more money than the money lost by some people quitting in disgust ) they might eventually do it.

I really hope they don’t.

You can get them without buying them. Some choose to buy them, but nothing stops you from getting them without doing so. And not only that but you could if you played enough get full rune words by like day 3/4 if you were playing a lot. Quit QQing and start farming or learning how to farm better.

There are no dupes. There are for sure bots. But bots had nothing to do with the streamers being donated gear nor actually playing a lot. It literally has nothing to do with the fact that you’re stuck in normal mode because you’re braindead. D2JSP has nothing to do with it other than people learned how to play better on that site. You’d figure after 20 years you’d figure out your way of farming NM duriel over and over in players 1 with a crap build just wasn’t going to cut it, but you keep chugging along.

Lol, should be another wonderful thread about d2jsp/fg/rmah/p2w/rmt/d3/poe/economy/ladder

Bunch of cry babies who can’t enjoy something for themselves.

So cheating is enjoyment for you? Interesting.

Lol another “you’re a cheater” cry baby. None of it bothers me. Don’t care if people want to spend money on a video game. It is 2023 folks. Better invent a time machine, go back to the start of online gaming and change history. At this point none of this is changing.

im just waiting for a solo self found where people dont have to feel like idiots for not cheating.

D2 isn’t from 2023, it’s from 2001, and it’s a game predicated on those drop rates. You can boast about cheating, but pretending that it doesn’t undermine the entire point of the game just makes you looks dumb. You can tell people what you plan to do, and you can be proud of it, but that doesn’t make it correct.

In the context of a competitive ladder, it is wrong to buy items. It’s also wrong to get funneled items and boosted through mass group play because a player is a popular streamer. All of these things deeply undermine a game that is this old and from a different era. So the best you can really say is that in 2023, a competitive D2 ladder is dead.

I’m surprised anyone bothered with season 3 after the Mosaic reveal. It was a like a proof of concept for ruining the game.

No, playing is enjoyment. Cheating is irrelevant. Affects me not. I DON’T CARE WHAT ANYONE ELSE IS DOING!

For whom? Nothing is ruined. Same people will win the ladder. Same people will grind it out for fun and distraction. Nothing is ruined except these forums with your incessant whining.

Jfc, you’re one of a dozen who cares. The remaining thousands of players are happily trading and playing with people who may or may not be using FG/RMT/etc. I could care less about yall, it doesn’t bother me that you care this much, meanwhile, we all are having fun. Sorry that it bothers you so much instead of just enjoying the game how you want to play it.

i love how much it scares you that people are speaking out against your pay2win cheating lol.

Hows it feel being stuck in normal still? Making judgement on ladder players when you don’t even play. Spend so much time here you can’t even beat norm mephisto.

Btw 4 more days then we will see the downfall of ladder right? JSP gonna kill it right?

Oh Bravata, everything and anything you say is absolutely meaningless. You’ve posted so many hilariously delusional things, you need a therapist.

Dude, this is not my first rodeo. For me this game is way more fun flying solo on ladder reset and I’m finished with hell before the end of day 1 without the benefit of a group to carry me, or rain down extra exp and droprate as a reward for taking the easier path of leaning on the group. I can spot wallet warriors easily, they look a lot stupider than they believe that they do, in game and out.

A SSF Ladder and/or a Ladder with trading/dropping items disabled would be interesting. Maybe RMT squad would not object to (re)adding /players command for THAT mode? We’ll never see it, the devs can’t even figure out how to fix their chat module.

It is arguable that D2 Ladder was never competitive. It’s probably a running joke with all employees involved.

I sincerely doubt that due to Blizzard’s track record … even before the real artist/creators of all their cash cows who actually had a sort of passion left and it transformed into the soulless corporate husk we have today.

Only thing I’ve spent money on was my copy of the game. Perhaps you need to get your eyes checked.

Play how you want to play. Quit worrying about what others do. If you choose to play handicapped, on top of your mental one, that is your decision.

Ah well, that was poorly worded by me. I didn’t mean to imply that you were one like that, as I’ve never played with you or seen your character ya know.

My only real point was you can do it legit. You can trade for Runes and play with a team. Last season I found 24 HR’s and traded for more. I didn’t even play that much except for the 1st week. The point being if you focus you energy into achieving a enigma/infinity with a CTA you can do so in a very short time. I think I was enigma+CTA by Day 2 or 3 I can’t remember which. The rest sort of falls in line a bit more slowly.

Sure there are some RMT users and botters, but assuming that is what they’re doing isn’t a good thing IMO.

Care to list actual stats on hours played vs HRs dropped? Given that drop rates are easy to check, we can judge/calculate how lucky you were, or if you were so lucky it is statistically unlikely to be just “luck”.
