I really dont understand why is everything in blizzard taking so damn long time to do. We wait for Mephisto terror zone fix for months, banwaves are usualy done when all bots already made huge profit and ruined season… Its often very simple things also, fixed which can be done even by one person.
The bot issue is really bad this season, it would not be even hard to catch many botters. Just go to jsp and itsclear as day who is botting or not. Yeah guy who isselling 5 unid deaths webs few days in season obviously is not legit. And then you can easily id people in game. Check their pattern, adjust anticheat system based on that… Yes some investment would be needed but come on. Do we really want health of game to be ruined by cheaters?
And its not just Diablo, overwatch had same issue for years. I just dont get it. Can anybody explain this? Is blizz staff chronicaly overworked constantly?
Late night rant bud? You know what’s up for everything. First they love cheaters of all times, when they need money to justify their existence, they all of a sudden ban cheaters, but until that point, they want them to “profit” in some way off it before the ban hammer hits to keep them coming back. They’re also full sending D4 right now with every possible person because they need to make sure nobody is spotting flaws before they hit the D4 payday. They need people to play just long enough to not be able to get a refund. They also really really want this ladder to be bad. Why? Cuz you already paid for D2R, they’re hoping to scare you towards D4. And when that works (which it will) they will then perhaps do a ban wave. And it will work as their money schemes always do. Activision is probably the WORST thing to ever happen to gaming.
I wish patches weren’t on a ladder reset basis, at least not stuff like bug fixes. Like when the traps -res% bug was discovered it wasn’t fixed on offline until the next ladder. Seems they are too lazy or cheap to do mid-season patches, I’m wondering if it might have something to do with console patch certification stuff.
Guess they just want to save stuff (bug fixes, content changes, etc.) up in a pile then release it as one batch, but meh. Sucks when there’s a bug that’s annoying you and you’ve got to wait 4 months to hope that they fix it, and if they don’t then you wait another 4 months, etc. Like the pillars and walls in Travincal that are transparent in legacy graphics but opaque in D2R graphics, makes the Council very hard to see.
Meh, I’m hopeful they’ll get to it someday. Like it took them 9 months after launch to fix Cain’s dementia so he identifies items in the cube but they eventually did it.
Bots run private games lol. Why would they go baalruns??
You dont have any clue do you? Actualy go watch some big trading places. Prices dropped extremely fast, diablo clone is like every day. Many botters show they trade lists… Or even talk about it. I also know peopoe who use them. I mean its pretty clear that bots are rampant now. You are probably just oblivious.
? What do you think ?
Of course it is, thats the effect of mass botting, items will lose value very fast so your items you found in legit way are worth a lot less faster.
This question has been asked since D2 OG 23 years ago. When this occurs, it’s likely that _____ is true. Can you fill in the blank? And you keep buying their products…
you see zax you come to the same conclusion of me , maybe you are more patient or maybe i have more the eye to detect this , anyway he end in the same destination . he all love diablo 2 so much , the reason why he buy a 20 year old remaster , is just a shame what blizzard become with activision , no need to ask question too them because he all know the answer inside , have a good day guy dont waste your time and find a better game
since you dont know, this was how people played LoD. there, botting actually was rampant. why? because you didnt even have to run a client just the bot itself. it looks to me, this isnt the case in d2r and blizz did actually a good job.
if you want to actually experiencing what “rampant botting” is like, spin up LoD or talk to someone familiar with the d2 franchise.
bots have always been a thing in d2 history, not that i condone it or anything. its just a fact of reality. have you ever considered that maybe its not that bots are “worse than …”, its just you coming to terms with the reality of this game?
seems like a you problem. you meaning you seem to care about something you can completely ignore. one ber rune is always worth one ber rune and it doesnt matter how many ber runes there are. it is a non issue if you dont trade against a third party platform, in which case if you did, why are you complaining about it on the official forums?
I do know, but we are obviouslynot playing lod anymore if you didnt notice. Strategies how to bot effective change. Bots cannot read maps as well as they used to in lod and also in lod nobody cared really as buying game was very cheap. Most importantly you didnt need battle net account so cheaters obviously do not want to blatantly cheat in public games when there is also report system now. I dont know why i have to explain to you honestly. Its common sense dude…
Season is competitite enviroment and i am competitive guy, i like to trade. Because of botters is my experience ruined as items i find lose value super fast. I cant obviously compete with army of bots.
Do I ask too much to play in game where cheaters are actualy banned?
Your right about that ,the game lost its meaning
Now because farming legit isnt interesting anymore because nothing rare isnt a rare find anymore. Its playable in singleplayer for ppl who dont use bots. Change game, this will be issue in this game after years also
They don’t want to give us all of the goods in one fell swoop… After all, they know how many people play the OG with it not having ANY updates for the past 13 years… They want to keep us hooked onto Diablo as long as they can, and for as little as they can.
The game is on minimal life support.
It’s all part of Bobby Koticks maniacle plan to be the largest financial vampire in the solar system.
