Player 8 needs to happen. Only people opposing it are clueless noobs who fall victim for misinformation spread by abusers, and the abusers themselves.
It already did. It’s called single player. The only people looking to abuse something is the people asking for a cheat to be added to multiplayer.
Are you really that close-minded you just forgot how to absorb information? We have already discussed this a thousand time, genuinely asking. Like seriously, is there anything difficult in terms of comprehension I could help you with? Or are you just really bored and wanting some social interaction and attention this desperately?
Or you are one of those purist-brains living in forced denial that D2 won’t change, either way, it’s not amusing.
Player X command or a core change is coming to the game, it’s a matter of time if we keep asking. Right now only people who abuse it defend it.
I mean it’s not going to effect me either way. I’m gone if it’s added
Once again, you’re comparing a game to a job and thinking players should be given minimum wage loot for soloing the highest difficulty because they can survive on minimum wage loot in Blood Moor.
To you, it’s about the slot machine minigame, or is your memory failing you that quickly?
Yes exactly. A Journey that involves lots of gambling.
Also you were the person that begin the wage conversation. It went something like “blah blah blah, $15 isn’t a livable wage, blah blah it should be $35 an hour, blah blah blah.”
You won’t be gone. You weren’t when they changed so much thus far and you won’t be any time soon. Even if you did, Blizzard would gain 500k more happy customers, what do you think is more profitable?
You honestly think after all of this, there won’t be core gameplay changes? If not Player X something else, it’s a given. Majority are asking daily.
Because my line in the sand hasn’t been crossed yet. The changes so far are bad, but they aren’t game breaking. They just turned a 9/10 game into a 7/10 game. Which is why I play far less now than I did. It gets boring so I go do something else and come back for a few days here and there.
About the time /players 8 gets added I’ll probably go go back to playing Project 1999 EQ, or maybe some DAoC.
If I wanted to play a single player game… there are better ones out there.
Not sure why you think changes are bad, but why don’t you just go and play D2: LoD? Genuinely asking, your product is there for you, ours does not exist.
Players 8 does not suddenly turn it to SP game. It won’t even have that much effect, you are over exaggerating it by far. Really, nothing will change, already (99%) most magic find games are private.
Sure it does. Why don’t you go play one of the modded servers. They have perma p8 rune drops.
What modded server has that? Are you really that closed-minded that you actually did not even bother reading the changes in mods to see why they appeal to majority of people?
You also don’t understand D2 game mechanics I am sad to say, if you think players 8 will change it by far. Newsflash nothing will change most magic find games are already ran private - only now there are people abusing it by fillers so it will make things more fair.
In the end: D2LoD exist for you, D2R is a live service game. If you really think it won’t change even after 2.4 you’re being forcedly in denial and naïve.
Actually they appeal to a tiny minority of people. D2R sold over 5m copies. The mod servers have a few thousand players at most. It’s just the very vocal, needy, demanding, minority. The kind with short attention spans that need constant change and stop by on the forums every day to whine about things.
D2R sold that copies because of changes. Majority of D2R players want changes. How many players did D2:LoD have or had before D2R released? How much is it in comparison to mods and people who want changes?
Yeah, sure dude.
D2R sold most of those LONG before any changes lol.
Personally I’ve tried refunding a couple times and they won’t. I only bought the game because it was supposed to be a remaster.
D2R released with changes, you’re living in even beyond denial.
Blizzard/VV were very honest that this game is a “live service” game, that they will be changes (again, released with changes) and that they will focus on stability first, then more changes and Ladder next. It’s your own fault.
There is a difference in basic QoL, and gameplay changes my dude. The share stash changes nothing. Nilk portal changes nothing.
Nerfing Mana burn, Nerfing Vipers, buffing pally/sorc/zon those are all terrible changes, and I’d never have dropped the $40 on it if I thought they’d make such dumb changes.
Nihalathak is game-play change even if you deny that, so as killing cow king. You can live in denial up to you.
Also, you know it as much as I do that Blizzard/VV were very clear: Stability first (this is why it was in semi-“pure” form) and then changes and Ladder. More changes are coming. Again, keep living in denial you will only end up hurting yourself. The smart thing to do is go back to D2LoD it’s right there for you.
P.S.: All the changes you mentioned (and most of everything Blizzard have done) is brilliant. It made me and my friends buy the game, we just did it when 2.4 was announced.
Let Blizzard monitor sales records of when 2.4 were announced and before.
actually that’s false. Shared stash means you can hide your gold when dying, and it also means you can build 1 Enigma and 1 CTA and share them amongst your toons.
Love how you purists conveniently nit-pick facts when it suits you
You could already share items… and I don’t really die my dude… lol.
I just saw that, shared stash does not change the game wow… They really are clueless about the game this is why they are against changes. Especially in Hardcore it is game changing.
Also yes, the example you gave.
