You are probably the same type of person that in 1.09 used the buriza(Noob Cannon) with pierce and clegs thinking you are good at pvp
Also the Diablo 2 pvp scene consists of like… 12 people if that… go find a duel game… oh there are none because this game has no pvp scene at all. This is not Diablo 2 nor it is the peak of Diablo 2 LOD pvp.
The community used to exist during the original launch of Diablo 2 where mid lvl duels mid lvl duelsss mid lvl duelz low level duels low level duelzzz… etc…
Were all games you could join and almost always made. When there were more than 100,000 players online at once…

The developers don’t understand that PvP is the D2 end game. This is why players spent a lot on items like Jmod (a pvp item).

I feel really sorry for you that you missed it. Duel games in Classic were great fun. VLLD LLD MLD in LoD was great too with actually mannered people who would do team duels, events, etc. LLD types had so many niche builds/items to treasure hunt for that made PvM way more interesting than hunting for HRs and cookie cutter boring high level items.
But this is D2R TZ roulette where most people farm alone or don’t log in until a good TZ then follow the murder train around ad nauseum. From what I see in pug they just buy botted HR for their cookie cutter builds and then go F off, there’s almost no meaningful interaction with others passed normal difficulty besides TZ, rush, baal/chaos runs.
You’re not getting WSG back. So nobody should be asking for it. Imagine telling a new player that was how stun was dealt with and ought to be dealt with in this game in 2023.
Better come up with a compelling case for fixing the inability to stun since they’ve probably hit maintenance mode on D2R. The rampant botting suggests thats the case so they’re definitely not just ignoring pvp.
plenty of solutions was proposed by the community tbh, but its kinda as you said, maintenance mode. They came, broke the game and never came back
