If you trade at all, bots affect your game in two ways:
1: The value of your items become worthless faster. If everybody has your item, then nobody wants your item. Consumable items will always hold some value, but even they lose value as the players acquire gears crafted with them.
2: The game progression for everyone is much faster, regardless if a random player is running bot(s) or not. A humans time is both limited and more precious than a bots time. Bots don’t value time like we do. An item found by a human is worth more than the same item found by a bot.

I’ve never had a bot problem in D2r to be honest. I’m now playing hc xbox and there are no games at all, but when there was one or two never saw bots.
No. If you took a legitimate poll between vanilla vs 1.08 vs 1.09 vs 1.10 vs any d2 mod, the majority of players would prefer 1.10+
I beat d2 in every single significant patch in the 2000s and I still have several bootleg copies from the middle east which will install d2 classic or exp with the old patches. Pre 1.10 had plenty of balancing issues too but those who reminisce those times have rose colored glasses and need to get over it because it is far more likely that blizz will remove or nerf mosaic (which they won’t) versus trying to provide a pre 1.10 experience at this point.
Frankly, I find it funny how people take d2 as seriously as a RTS or MOBA and are so concerned about balancing and fairness when I have NEVER played a single ARPG where this was the case.
You are really exagerating
What you are asking is too hard… it’ has been proven to be impossible
- caugh * 30min to make * caugh *
Just installed some mods yesterday and the stackable gems is already buggy and the creator lists a lot of issues on nexus…
So yeah, 30min tops… /s

Maybe because 90% of old playerbase is just long gone HAHA
Some back to D2R see the same broken shi1t and quit again, just like me.
HAHAHAHAha yeah and 1.10 has no issues
Pre 1.10 is just classic Diablo experience, 1.10 is like second expansion which changed Diablo2 to a mod. 1.10+ should be as seperatre game mode in char screen selection.
Respec + sellable mana potions + shared stash + some skill buffs is all 1.09 needed.
Exactly. So much stuff could be fixed, polished, balanced or simply added. There is lot of mods to get an idea from. It is easy to push reset button, but some new stuff would be cool. Or to add ACT 6 for more profit (dunno if it is viable).
Knowing you this is most likely a fabricated story to discredit mod and my point
But let’s assume you are right
The problem is in your first words “some mods”
OFC if you pick random stuff you can get lacklustre results
It’s a video game man. The only thing that matters is personal taste and I can only speak for myself. I mean I’m sure some people like Mosaic as well. I’m just not one of them.
As someone who has played mods like PD2, PoD, and has played a handful of PoE seasons as well I personally just prefer different things than the direction those went.
I mean I bought D2R because it WASN’T those, ya know?
Only thing fabricated is your nonsense.
I can send you the mods I used. It’s nothing special, just the most common things that are often talked about.
Increased droprate
Perfect rolls
Increased density

Known Issues
- Stacks cannot be combined in the shared stash. This is a Diablo 2 issue and needs to be fixed by Blizzard (can be reproduced with Tomes, Quivers, etc…)
- Selling a stack to a vendor sets its quantity to the maximum value. This is a Diablo 2 issue and needs to be fixed by Blizzard (can be reproduced with Tomes, Quivers, etc…)
Here is our proof
You picked a crappy mod that tried to do something that requires hardcoding with having access to hardcoding lol
The safest stacking mods for D2R is doing it with the cube
It’s bugless and takes 30min to implement to the game
Love how you talk about things without doing any research and facts.
Splitting is done via cube, creating the stackable gems is also done via cube. Just the stacking itself happens like tomes.
Saying you could do it bug free in less than 30 minutes tells us all we need to know about you.
It is bug free
The dude that made your bugged mod tried to do something that requires hardcoding to be bug free
I love how you claim I speak out of ignorance while I’m the one with the YouTube playlist full of self made d2R modifications lol
