Google says archon plate and/or sacred armor, but do those drop in hell cow? And if not, where should I farm?
What’s the big difference between archon plate and sacred armor? Str requirement is not an issue to me (my merc will use it).

Both Archon Plate and Sacred Armor (base item) can drop in cows, but Sacred Armor is much more rare to drop.

Archon plate is a “light” armor that has no speed penalty or stamina loss and defense varies between 410 and 524.
Sacred Armor is “Medium” and has 50% stamina drain penalty and 5% speed loss and defense varies between 487 and 600.
archon is the sweet spot cause of its low strenght requirement if you want to wear the item yourself.
a ethereal sacred armor is the way to go if you want to do craft it for your merc cause it has the highest defense possible and you dont care about the strenght requirement
You sure they can drop in hell cow? If I remember correctly hell cow is only level 81
Start with a good soil with plenty of nutrients and that holds water well.
Fertilize the soil once a month.
Plant your seeds about 1/2 under the dirt and 2 inches apart.
Water twice a day until it sprouts.
Give it plenty of love.
Hell Bovines (mlvl 81) can drop from TC87, which is where Sacred Armor is, but their drop rate from TC87 is roughly 20% of a mlvl 85 monster, which is why the Sacred Armor drop rate is so low from cows. But there is absolutely no chance of Tyrael’s Might dropping in cows. There is a tiny chance of Templar’s Might dropping though, and that’s only from Champions+, it can’t drop from regular cows.
You shouldn’t be looking for sacred armor at all.

Wirefleece
Wyrmhide
Dusk shroud
Best places are dense areas like cow level. Have Zero magic find to lessen the odds of magic items dropping and farm.
Other place could be Chaosbl Sanc.
The entirety of Nithalaks temple.
Ancient tunnels
Pitts.
Any high density locations with minimal magic find.
I have a wyrmhide 4os at 688 def, but Lo is rare and I’m not too sure if I should put on this or wait till I can get a 700+, 800+ def would be even better
i’d get a cheap treachery if i were you, high ias > chilling armor for a lifesteal merc
fortitude is basically a noob trap and waste of hr
The +300% damage boost is hard to ignore though.
I disagree with that, while treachery (my merc is wearing 1) offer 45% ias, fortitude increase merc damage by 4x (300%)
Basic math will tell you that even in terms of lifesteal, fortitude will win over treachery any day
Not mentioning that the huge increase in def means that merc is less likely to get hit, thus less dependent on lifesteal to survive
a dead merc does not need high damage, he must attack and replenish his health faster than the crowd of enemies around him can deal more damage to kill him
eth reaper + treachery is the perfect setup for p7 cows, and this game can’t challenge your merc any more than that
Fort is still good, but I wouldn’t use my first Lo on it when treach is good enough.

I don’t understand your math and logic at all
Assume you deal 1 hit per second for 100 dmg, that is a lifesteal of 10hp/s (10% lifesteal from andy’s visage)
With treachery 45% ias, you hit faster (not 45% but maybe less coz diminishing return), you heal somewhere between 13-14hp/s
With fortitude, since your damage is x4, now you will heal 40hp/s
I don’t see how 40hp/s lose out to 13-14hp/s
Not mentioning that fortitude has much much higher def than treachery, meaning than you will be less likely to get hit (probably 30% or more), which is kind of more effective than the dmg reduction from fade

I mean, I got a few eth archons (12% ed) laying around if you need one hit me up, you’ll have to take it to larz to get socs in it but, its just been collecting dust for 2 weeks lol
Too bad I play offline bro, I give up online for 2 weeks already after the server becomes bad, and I don’t see myself coming back to online anytime soon with the queue system
eh yeah, true on that I read problems about it all day while im at work watching the forums lol I count myself lucky that I am a night time (MST) player so I haven’t ran into queues yet, but… knowing that, best of luck out there finding it and just my $0.02 but, cows is where I get a good 90% of my bases from.
