Often I do trav and halls runs. If I remember correctly I got archon on trav and sacred on halls. But My memory isn’t great so take that as grain of salt. For failsafe I would suggest halls, after pindle. Then if you’re down to you could go kill nih afterwards

I currently have a treachery on a dusk shroud 380 def. Should I farm a better base for it or stop? Has googled many times but the opinions seem mixed.
Well if you plan to make a smite paladin, having threachery and grief are great options for sure for ubers, but you could handle just fine with a black rw also. Currently my paladin uses Heaven’s Light, with 2 eths and pairs nice with lvl 1 zeal and lvl 1 vengeance, because fanaticism and treachery provides enough aspd for breakpoints and I wouldn’t need much dex to hit most of foes only relying to keep block 75%.
Really depends on what you would do and where those runewords would go.
Smite paladin can be great with both of them, but you could use black as budget choice. Other than that maybe barb and druid.
For merc, well really depends, treachery can make their aspd really great, but in my case because I have fanaticism aura I opted for duriel’s shell.

I’m about to complete chains of honor too so I don’t think I ever need to wear a treachery on my main char, this sorc or many others alike
You’re trying to do bear sorc or enchant sorc or you use act5 merc? Because grief doesn’t seens to be great in your case if you don’t play any of those.
Unless you gonna use grief on another character. About fortitude or chains of honor can be great on merc, but can be useful on other characters also. The fortitude could be fine for the sorc, but I would preffer something like vipermagi instead.
Uber basically you can do with black rw, threachery and life tap wand. Some resist charms and if needed a shield with about 76% all resist or focus on cold/lightning for meph part, while the rest you should do fine with the shield with 76% all resist(4 perfect diamond) and some. The treachery can be swapable after you trigger the fade effect, if you have enough aspd on your gear for something else.
30 resist from anya’s quest + 60 from threachery+ 30% cold(treachery equipped) + 76% all resist you have enough to have 66 all resist, but would be at -6% to cold and -36% to lightning against uber meph. That you could solve with some resist charms for cold and lightning to compensate.
At least I done my smite paladin and worked out really well. Later I got goblin toe and guillarme that made me virtually 93(with heavens) and 100% with black crushing blow.
