Most of the time, I just play the radio in the background on a classic hits/classic rock station that plays most of it’s music from the 1980s, with some 1990s sprinkled in. However, if I’m in the mood for heavier, I’ll go Blind Guardian, Nightwish, Avantasia, early Lacuna Coil (not a fan of their stuff since Delirium), Symphony X, Dream Theater, etc. However, to be honest, I barely keep up with new music anymore.

ever Try Kamelot? It’s an amazing band if you like Nightwish, Blind Guardian, Avantasia, Edguy, etc.

I miss the 90’s. 
Unfortunately what rock is/was seems to be on its death bed… It seems to be an exhausted genre.

I’ve heard of them, but never tried listening to them. I got into metal my last year in high school pretty much with Blind Guardian, Iced Earth (though listening to them gives me no joy anymore after what Jon did), Symphony X, DT, Yngwie Malmsteen, Impelliteri, etc. Seen quite a few bands live too back when I lived in Florida, including Blind Guardian three times.
Just as I’ve gotten older, I tend to enjoy just some easy listening, easy beats.

I recommend trying Kamelot and Turisas big time. The violinist for Turisas, Olli Vanska, actually talked with me through private messages on facebook. The guy is down to earth and he loves his fans. Pretty rad I say.
Maybe on one of my youtube browsing times I’ll look into it. I often do stumble across some interesting music when I surf through there; there is a guy Yannis, who runs with Beast in Black, that has done covers of a couple of Nightwish songs, really well too. I sometimes stop on Leapfrog Studios for metal covers and some of his collabs, as well as the guy that does songs in the style of another artist.

I feel Led Zepplin goes well with D2R. 10 years gone is a hell of a jam to listen to for many reasons. Battle of evermore is great too! Also when doing Baal runs, dancing mad is fantastic!

When I move on august 6th I will be using my brand new 400lb capacity exercise bike with a wide seat. I am hyped! It’s gonna be every morning before breakfast, I heard it’s best to exercise before you eat.

I struggled with my weight most of my adult life. When 2020 first started, decided to change that since my life was pretty easy going and very little stress when I moved to the Mid West. Just started doing a brisk walk 20 minutes a night on the treadmill, and some low impact exercises with 15 lbs weights and ended up losing 40 lbs that year.

hey man I feel you. slaps top of head I got so much mental illness in here I have self destructive behaviors for losing weight. I had stomach surgery in 2018, I lost 100 lbs… gained some back… Trying to get back on track. My biggest problem is portion sizes. I like high carb food… I love butter and taters. And I like beer.
