Blizzard outright said in a few announcements that farming was causing an issue. Blizzard also said they were going to slow down the farming by doing this exact thing (creating queues). And despite doing both announcing and doing it, it’s still going in one ear and out the other with all of you.
People either act like Blizzard never said this, or are just outright ignoring the main reason Blizzard created the queue times. Even though it’s right there in the announcement, people are in denial and trying to argue otherwise with all sorts of unrelated nonsense.
It’s pointless talk to a farmer because even after blizzard saying farming is causing this problem, and actually putting this roadblock to prevent farming, you farmers will continue arguing otherwise. so instead of letting you farmers argue with them, they warned you and now just majorly slowed you down. now that it’s happened, so many people are crying about it.
Blizzard isn’t going to deal with you farmers and other people arguing with them about how they want you to play their game. Instead they will just say slow down or we will slow you down so when it happens, we don’t want to hear it.
You were all told up front this was going to happen and why, and it’s as if none of you grasp it yet because it happened, and people are wondering why and complaining.
People are mad because we live in a time when there are off the shelf, cost effective solutions to problems like this, a problem that wasnt this bad on blizzards old servers way back in the day, from one of the biggest companies in the industry.
The best advise I can give is don’t play during East Asia’s prime time. That’s mornings for the Americas and afternoons for Europeans and Africans. I just popped on and saw no queue whatsoever because they’re mostly asleep right now.
How dare people farm in D2. wahahah. Gutted. Having a blast on SP. Not re-making games and running LK etc fast anyway because this un-optimised game takes too long to load. You know the devs can’t be too competent at math when they’re filling a 20 year old game with long runtime algos. So I don’t expect the server issues to be sorted anytime soon either. If ever.
Except Blizzard already said the game isn’t supposed to be farmed and even added queue times to prove it’s not and did it to slow you people down.

If you haven’t gotten it through your head by now that Blizzard doesn’t want this game to be farmed, then you’re a lost cause.

The way people play a game isn’t relevant to how the game company says to play it. When people like you cannot listen, they stop talking and take action exactly like they did.
Blizzard said this game isn’t to be farmed, the blocks are now put in place to slow it down, and here you are still arguing.

maybe we should see how old d2 is being played… people are farming on ladder? i wonder why that is. maybe its to get better gear? but whats the difference between D2LoD and D2R? oh right 20 year old servers are better than those made recently. the game is meant to be farmed, how else to gear your character? the only reason why they dont want you to farm on D2R is because they have done a poor job at creating reliable servers.
This isn’t old D2. Trying to compare one to the other isn’t a valid point, or counter argument.
Bottom line is this.
Blizzard said this isn’t supposed to be farmed because it’s cause the servers to become unstable, so they put roadblocks in place to stop it.
If people do not grasp the very simple concept that THIS GAME IS NOT TO BE FARMED from both the announcement as well as them actually slowing the farming…then you’re beyond talking to and a troll.
Everyone’s reasoning does not matter and has no relevance. If blizzard said don’t do something, guess what…don’t do it…arguing about doesn’t change facts.
youre dumb if you think people arent going to play this game the exact same way as they did the original. so, in a sense, this is old d2.
they put these blocks in to help them slow people down so its easier for them to implement fixes so people can farm they even said that these ques are temporary and will only remain in place until they can make a more reliable service for people playing the game the way its meant to be played.
