What is Bone Break GC good for?

I understand how the elemental sunders benefit certain builds.

I believe the magic sunder is totally useless (correct me if I miss something)

And the physical sunder → bone break … what build can benefit from it and how? The curses still do 1/5 effect so with bone break and amp you get the phys res of the immunes to 75%? How is that good? There are no phys facets to complement that …

Why do people pay high runes for bone break?

no, only LR and convic got nerfed to work at 1/5 on sundered enemies…amp still gives -100% phys res to any sundered enemy

very useful for a summonecro

according to TCex
bone breaker has only 6 pick probability against
30 from cold and fire Scharms
20 from lite
12 from poison
3 from magic

this may be the reason

Both are useless. You can use the bone break on necro for better CE performance but it’s not worth it.

Most phys damage chars have better options to deal with pi. You could use it on shifters but why would you farm pi mobs and take 10% dr away from yourself?

Only magic GC is worse

This is great for summon necro.
Whitout bone break, use amplify damage and your damage summoned give ±10% damage.
With bone break, use amplify damage in imunity and your get 105% damage.

Summon necro dont care much for suffer more damage.

If you’re a hammerdin solo doing a baal run, the magic grand charm is fine to use, also AT. Otherwise I wouldn’t bother.

Do people actually pay high runes for bone break? I could see perhaps wanting to use the charm to slay the what is it spirit(?) class of monsters that have the higher chance to drop runes on like a horker, but otherwise I don’t get it.

Decrepify is also 100%?

decrep work at its full potential against sundered enemies but it reduces mobs phys res in -50% against -100% from amp

But you also get the slow so worth it in some circumstances.

I like combining the bone break with reapers toll on merc. Zealer loves it. Don’t have to wait for merc.

I just got one of these for the first time. I imagine it would be more useful if there was a direct minions/merc general command to move your minions forward without having to lead the party yourself.

Good for Tornada druid if combined with reaper toll merc.

Making Throw Barb semi-viable.

This thread has me realizing I’m a bit of a freak.

I use Bone Break on all of my physical characters. Then when Decrepify procs, the immune monsters take 55% of my damage instead of 5-10%.
I always thought it was a beneficial trade off for the player.

The 10% increased damage isn’t even noticeable when you’ve got 4k health on the Barb and Fury Druid, max block on the Zeal Paladin, and keep at distance with the Bowazon.

Bone Break
I play with the Amazon Bow & Druid Summon.
Bone Break GC solves many of my problems.
I can get in trouble with the Amazon Bow against ghosts/souls from time to time, but as a Druid Summon, I dont have those problems with ghosts/souls.

What is Bone Break GC good for?
