Yet you keep coming back here…
Sooner or later your honeymoon with D4 will be over, and you’ll wind up right back here playing your true favorite Diablo game. I know it, you know it, we all know it.

Hmmm… lets see… I thought battle.net gave a “last played” like steam did. Guess not? I just enjoy coming back here to see people like you. I haven’t played D2R in well over a year. Didn’t it come out in 2020? I never played during a season, either.
D3, on the other hand, I’ve been playing. I missed S5 of D4. You are probably right about the honeymoon of D4. If they don’t uncap that level 300 paragon I might lose interest in a season or two.
I have a fan.
There isn’t any monetization in Diablo 4.
They sell cosmetics that no one has to buy to play.
There isn’t a single pay to win feature in the game by blizzard.
Also D4 VoH is very good, been having a blast with season 6. So many fun builds to theorycraft and test out.
If they’re selling skins, pets, horse mounts or whatever, that is monetization. It’s good that the game isn’t pay to win, I never said it was pay to win… It’s “pay to skin”.
Make a game where everyone has the same avatars which may be dull and boring (think Minecraft), sell flashy cool looking skins to make yourself stand out from the crowd for only $2.99! This skin is a limited time offer! Then after the coolness factor of that $2.99 wears off, here’s another batch of cool looking skins for you to fest your eyes on! Stand out from the crowd, be the envy of your friends! Buy the flashy seizure inducing sword transmog!!!.. Etc.
I wouldn’t mind something like this coming to D2:R if it were to prompt them to provide more support for the game, as long as I have control whether or not it shows on my screen.
I love pay to skin if there is zero pay2win.
Let everyone spend money on stuff which isn’t needed and pure cosmetics so everyone can benefit.
I’ve spent exponentially more money on skins in Torchlight and PoE than I have in any P2W game.
Yeah technically I can swipe for pretty much any game on third-party sites, but where’s the fun in that? They’re video games, you play them to have fun. Then you spent $100 to make your toon look like a pretty princess because you’re enjoying yourself and want to support the devs.
