Please, for the love of God Almighty, make the sound volume lvl of Valkyrie separate from the main volume bar. She has some nasty groaning old 80’s p0rn sounds, and the volume can’t be lowered by any other subsequent sound bar, except main volume lvl.
So, basically, I have to almost mute every other sound in the game, just so I can lower valkyrie’s sound lvl.
Please, fix this! <3

Same here - started a Javazon and her voice goes over anything else, it´s very distracting. Please please either look into lowering her voice to a normal state or add the option as OP suggested

Same here… I like to disable game music and put all sounds to 10% volume while listening music. But it’s really annoying every second with that valkyrie pain.
I’m actually playing without her.

Yes, I find it annoying as well. It needs to be toned down so it’s at level in terms of sound with other sounds. Or maybe have the minions sounds be a different setting? Either would work I think. I am currently playing a fendazon (lvl 40) with the valk and my rogue merc and the valk’s wounding sound is distracting (I know about the fend bug but I am going to make it work somehow if it is the last thing I do lol).

wrong. it is annoying as !@#$ and im a d2 vet. seems 100x louder then it used to be. that or I never messed with the valkyrie cuz of that reason. so until they adjust it i refuse to use it. cant bother hearing that groan

Tbh, when you switch to legacy mode all the sounds seem louder than updated mode. Maybe Valks sound is use the legacy sounds and not the updated sounds because its louder than everything else.
Zon vet here, been playing Zon tunes for 21+ years now. I can confirm that there’s something in this game WAYYYY busted with the Valk sound. I literally used one of my respecs to remove points from Valk because I can’t use her with any level of volume whatsoever (to make that SFX quiet, I can’t hear anything else in the game). Don’t even get me started on headphones, it’s murder!
She was loud on classic but this is just insufferable. It sounds to me like someone accidentally sneezed while moving the balance bar in a sound app and accidentally hit 400%, it’s even distorted.

YES!!! i just came here to post about this! Omg i can’t believe i reset my stats to add the Valkyrie skill and now i’m stuck with her, i hate the sounds she makes so much! i’m not using guides or anything, if i knew she made this horrible UGHHH OUGH sound every second i would never waste skill points on her! i play with headphones and it’s a PAIN! This needs to be fixed asap! also make a button to turn friendly fire on so that i can kill her when i accidentally summon her, plz! -_-’

I actually even decided to tweak myself the excel files to just mute the valk…

Valkyrie is way to loud. Have to waste a respec now to get out of her annoying sound effect blasting constantly. Please fix as soon as possible. =(

Valkyrie sounds need to get fixed, it’s super loud, she can only be lowered with the main volume making all other things unhearable.
I couldn’t agree more with this. I also wasted a respec to get rid of her. Although now that I read something about editing the sound files i may look into that, but it sounds iffy if you play online?
